Chapter 22 Going on a Date

"What for?" Ji Xiaonuan looked at him suspiciously, but still handed over her phone.

Chi Jun'an pressed a few buttons on the phone. "I'm saving my number for you. That way, when I call you tomorrow, you won't have to ask who I am."

Ji Xiaonuan's cheeks turned slightly red.

It was true that she hadn't saved Chi Jun'an's number, but... didn't this bring her and Chi Jun'an closer instead?

"Of course I'm here to pick up Xiaoxi." Chi Jun'an hooked the corners of his lips indifferently. He calmly walked past An Ziyu and frankly took Ji Xiaonuan's hand. "Let's go."

Ji Xiaonuan subconsciously tried to break free, but Chi Jun'an squeezed her palm and subtly tilted his gaze in the direction of An Ziyu.

Ji Xiaonuan noticed it and understood what Chi Jun'an meant. Were they going to act as a couple to make An Ziyu, who was harassing her, give up? That was a really good idea. "Okay." Ji Xiaonuan nodded.

An Ziyu looked at them in surprise. He blocked their way again. "Wait a minute, Ji Xiaonuan, why aren't you attacking Chi Jun'an?"

Chi Jun'an held Ji Xiaonuan's hand tightly and waved it in front of him. "Because we're boyfriend and girlfriend now. Young Master An, you should know this very well. Why pretend not to?"

An Ziyu opened his eyes wide in surprise.

No way? Had Chi Jun'an won over Ji Xiaonuan so quickly?

He had always thought that Chi Jun'an was an unromantic blockhead, but once Chi Jun'an made a move, he had actually won over Ji Xiaonuan within a few days?

"Come on, stop lying to me!" An Ziyu frowned. "You must be afraid that I'll pester her, so you're deliberately acting for me, right?"

Ji Xiaonuan felt a bit guilty. How could An Ziyu guess so accurately?

But Chi Jun'an didn't seem to care at all. "Ziyu, if you feel better thinking that way, then go ahead. Please make way. We're going on a date."

Seeing that he wouldn't move aside, Chi Jun'an led Ji Xiaonuan and directly bypassed An Ziyu.

He took Ji Xiaonuan to the mall.

Ji Xiaonuan looked at him in surprise. "Why did you bring me here?"

"To buy you a new outfit." He said indifferently.

"No need, right?" Ji Xiaonuan refused awkwardly. "I think this outfit of mine is fine."
