Chapter 28 Who Did It

"Are you still cold?" Chi Jun'an asked and turned up the room temperature a bit.

Hearing his voice suddenly, Ji Xiaonuan felt as if she had been struck by lightning.

She quickly turned around and saw Chi Jun'an sitting behind her, drying her hair. He was only wearing a bathrobe loosely tied around his body, and it seemed that... he wasn't wearing anything underneath!

Ji Xiaonuan was instantly stunned. She looked down at herself and found that she was in a similar situation as Chi Jun'an.

"You, you, you," She quickly shuffled to the side and looked at him with a terrified expression. "What did you do to me? Why am I here?"

"Don't you remember anything?" Chi Jun'an was slightly surprised.

"Remember what?" Ji Xiaonuan said angrily as she picked up the pillow beside her and threw it at him. "You brute! Bastard! Scumbag!"

She was very weak now and didn't have much strength, so the pillow didn't hurt him at all when it hit.

Chi Jun'an smiled faintly and caught the pillow. But when he saw Ji Xiaonuan's aggrieved eyes and the tears that suddenly fell, his heart sank.

"Even if you don't remember, don't you have any feeling in your body about whether I did something or not?" Chi Jun'an said in a low voice.

Ji Xiaonuan was taken aback. Besides feeling cold and having some soreness all over her body, this soreness seemed more like the result of taking a cold bath rather than from having experienced something else. There didn't seem to be anything unusual about "that part" of her.

Ji Xiaonuan put down her legs and tried to stand up.

Chi Jun'an handed her the phone. "Your phone was out of power just now. I just charged it for you..."

At least, she should let them know she was safe now.

"Mengxue, where are you?" He asked hastily.

But what came from the phone was,

"Your boyfriend really doesn't give up. He's been calling non-stop," A man's voice came from the receiver.
