Chapter 66: Your Feelings Have Nothing to Do with Me

"Then let's not talk about her," Ji Xiaonuan said softly.

Although she was a bit slow, she could feel Yang Wanrong's hostility towards her. Chi Jun'an's sudden mention of Yang Wanrong made her feel a bit unhappy.

Chi Jun'an raised his eyebrows in surprise.

He had suddenly mentioned Yang Wanrong because during the game of Truth or Dare, Yang Wanrong had suddenly brought up something that he had promised her before.

Yang Wanrong was the daughter of one of the directors of the Chi Group. Her father had come to Chi Jun'an and asked him to arrange a job for her in the Chi Group.

Chi Jun'an had always refused when directors tried to place their children in the company. However, Yang Wanrong's parents had a special relationship with his parents, and he couldn't refuse.

Fortunately, Yang Wanrong had good abilities. After arranging her in the Chi Group, other directors had nothing to say.

This was what Chi Jun'an wanted to tell Ji Xiaonuan. But judging from Ji Xiaonuan's expression, she didn't seem to care at all. After thinking for a while, he didn't mention it again.

When they got back to Q University, Ji Xiaonuan stopped his car at a corner outside the school.

Chi Jun'an looked at the deserted street and frowned. "There aren't many people around now. Let me send you directly back to the school." "No, no!" Ji Xiaonuan quickly waved her hands. "Your car is too eye-catching. It will definitely attract attention."

Chi Jun'an raised his eyebrows slightly. It seemed that he needed to prepare another car that wasn't so noticeable.

"I'm going back now," Ji Xiaonuan pushed open the car door, but Chi Jun'an also got out of the car.

"What are you getting out for?" she asked in surprise.

"To send you," Chi Jun'an said indifferently.

"No need to send me," Ji Xiaonuan felt awkward. "It's only about ten minutes' walk from here to the dormitory."

"It's so late. Do you think I can rest assured if you go back alone?" Chi Jun'an raised his eyebrows slightly. "If you're afraid of being misunderstood, I'll follow behind you and keep a distance."

"..." Seeing that he insisted on sending her, Ji Xiaonuan felt a bit helpless. She compromised. "Then let's go."

After walking for a while, Ji Xiaonuan suddenly found that Chi Jun'an wasn't following her. She stopped and turned around in surprise.

Chi Jun'an was indeed doing as he said, just following her from a distance and not getting closer.

Ji Xiaonuan was speechless. She turned around and walked to Chi Jun'an's side.

Chi Jun'an looked at her in surprise.

"Let's go," Ji Xiaonuan said with a smile. "There aren't many people in the school at this time. If we walk, we probably won't attract too much attention."

"Okay," Chi Jun'an smiled faintly and reached out his hand to gently hold Ji Xiaonuan's palm.

Ji Xiaonuan blushed. She struggled awkwardly a couple of times, but Chi Jun'an exerted a little more force, and she gave up struggling.

The two of them walked hand in hand through the campus, and Ji Xiaonuan felt a strange sweetness in her heart.

Chi Jun'an accompanied her all the way to the downstairs of the girls' dormitory.

"You can go back now," Ji Xiaonuan said.

"Look over there," Chi Jun'an pointed at the entrance of the girls' dormitory building.

A couple was standing there, passionately kissing under the bright lights.

Ji Xiaonuan felt a bit embarrassed. What was Chi Jun'an hinting at?

She pretended not to understand his meaning and urged, "I see. You can go back now... Mmm!"

Chi Jun'an bent down, and his thin lips landed on hers.

He stuck out his tongue and intertwined with hers passionately. Ji Xiaonuan's eyes were hazy, and she quickly lost herself in such a deep kiss.

"Don't you like this?" He released her and said with a half-smile.

"…I don't like it," Ji Xiaonuan blushed slightly. Presumably, Chi Jun'an still remembered what she had said during the game of Truth or Dare. "Again," he chuckled and kissed her again.

It was another lingering kiss. He asked with a mischievous smile, "Do you like it now?"

"…I like it," Ji Xiaonuan said shyly.

"If you like it, then again," he kissed her once more.

Ji Xiaonuan was helpless. Why did Chi Jun'an want to kiss her whether she said she liked it or not?

Looking at Ji Xiaonuan's resentful gaze, Chi Jun'an reluctantly kissed her on the forehead. "Go back now."

"Okay," Ji Xiaonuan turned around shyly and ran back to the dormitory.

After driving back to the Chi Mansion, Chi Jun'an was a bit surprised to see Yang Wanrong, who reeked of alcohol, waiting at the door.

When she saw him get out of the car, Yang Wanrong staggered over. "Brother Muchen—"

Chi Jun'an frowned. Seeing Yang Wanrong leaning towards him, he quickly reached out his hand to support her.

"Wanrong, you're drunk. I'll ask the driver to send you home," he said unhappily.

"I'm not drunk!" Yang Wanrong said aggrievedly. "Brother Muchen, you can't really like Ji Xiaonuan, right? How could you like such a stupid and boring woman?"

"Wanrong, you're really drunk!" Chi Jun'an said in a deep voice, his tone a bit harsher.

"I said I'm not drunk!" Tears streamed down Yang Wanrong's eyes. She grabbed Chi Jun'an's sleeve tightly. "Brother Muchen, we met first. I was here first. How could you fall for that woman? I've liked you for more than ten years. Don't you really understand my feelings?"

"Wanrong, I only see you as a younger sister," Chi Jun'an said resolutely with a slight darkening of his eyes. "I don't have any other feelings for you. If I could like you, I wouldn't have waited until now. As for your feelings, they have nothing to do with me."

In matters of the heart, the most taboo thing is being wishy-washy. Since he had decided to be with Ji Xiaonuan, he wouldn't give any hope to other women.

Yang Wanrong looked at him with a heartbroken expression. She never expected that Chi Jun'an would be so heartless and say such decisive words!

"Is that woman really that good?!" Yang Wanrong shouted in frustration.

"Yes," Chi Jun'an said firmly.

Yang Wanrong's face turned even paler, and her tears flowed even more profusely. "But I've liked you for so many years, Brother Muchen. What do you want me to do? I'm begging you. Please stay with me for one night. Consider it as putting an end to these ten-odd years of my absurdity. As long as you agree to stay with me, I promise I won't pester you anymore..."

"Wanrong, go home early," Chi Jun'an suppressed his impatience and helped her into the car.

"I don't want to go home!" Yang Wanrong struggled fiercely and clung to Chi Jun'an desperately. "Brother Muchen, please agree. As long as you stay with me for one night, I promise I'll only see you as my brother from now on and won't have any improper thoughts about you. Please..."

Chi Jun'an's face became even uglier, and the last bit of his patience was completely exhausted.

Suddenly, he raised his hand and struck Yang Wanrong's neck. Yang Wanrong rolled her eyes and fainted directly.

Chi Jun'an threw her into the car and said to the driver with an unpleasant expression, "Send her home!"

"Yes," the driver quickly agreed.

Yang Wanrong had rented a luxurious apartment by herself, and Chi Jun'an knew her address. He directly told the driver.
