The knock on the door sounded again. Chi Jun'an smiled helplessly. "Ji Xiaonuan, how long are you going to keep me outside the door?"

Ji Xiaonuan suddenly came to her senses and quickly got up from the bed.

She came to the door in disbelief. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door.

Chi Jun'an rummaged through it, took out the thermometer, and handed it to Ji Xiaonuan. "Take your temperature first."

"I'm not running a fever…" Ji Xiaonuan said this, but she obediently took it.

"Have you packed all your things?" Chi Jun'an looked around the room. "Almost…" Ji Xiaonuan's cheeks turned red.

This cold of hers came too quickly and unexpectedly. She fell ill suddenly right after seeing off her roommates. The luggage that she had been packing halfway had to be put aside.

"What else do you need to pack?" he asked indifferently.

Ji Xiaonuan looked at Chi Jun'an in surprise. He couldn't be planning to help her pack her luggage, could he?

"Um… I can do it myself." she said shyly.

"Can you stand up?" he smiled.

Chi Jun'an simply looked at the things she had packed. He said in a deep voice, "I think you can just bring these things. I have the other things at my place, so you don't need to prepare them."

"Why did you suddenly get sick?" he sighed.

"Is there any pressure?" Chi Jun'an asked.

"Hmm?" Chi Jun'an looked at her in surprise.

"I'm not going in the same car as you. I'll take the bus by myself." Ji Xiaonuan said.

Before the word "safe" could be said, Ji Xiaonuan interrupted. "If people see me taking your car, how should I explain it? I'm going there for an internship, not to get special treatment. If you don't let me take the bus, then I won't go."
