"The UN decided to call the creatures emerging from mysterious holes or entrances 'Monsters', and the entrances themselves 'Dungeons'.
Dungeons would appear every year on January 1st at midnight, releasing monsters into the surrounding areas. While countries initially struggled to respond, they gradually learned how to handle these occurrences, and the damage became more limited over time.
Various decisions were made. What's commonly called the 'Second Year Resolution'. During the first year of dungeon appearances, countries that experienced them were too busy to even care about the UN, and countries that didn't see dungeons were loudly competing for potential territorial and resource rights.
However, in the second year, 10 more dungeons appeared. It became impossible to treat this as someone else's problem, and support and discussions began to proceed smoothly. The term 'Dungeon' was also decided during this time.
Japan, despite being a small island nation, was forced to change or cancel most of its year-end traditional events due to this extraordinary annual occurrence.
The first year it was in Ginza, Tokyo, the second year at the Osaka Expo site, and the third year in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. This is the Toyota City of the car manufacturer TOYOTA, where their original headquarters used to be before moving to Nagoya.
As a result, the first dungeon was called the Tokyo Dungeon, the second the Osaka Dungeon, and the third the Nagoya Dungeon - much to the locals' dismay.
Local residents call it the Toyota Dungeon, and I'm one of them. I absolutely refuse to accept calling it the Nagoya Dungeon, even if it's more recognizable to foreigners... It's only a 30-40 minute drive away, after all.
Just like how Disneyland in Chiba is still called Tokyo, I guess it can't be helped.
The dungeon I'm planning to enter is this Toyota Dungeon.
The Prime Minister resigned due to health issues, and a relative of former Prime Minister Aso took over, making Aso the Prime Minister again. Our social studies teacher said it was a ridiculous situation, with politicians using health issues as an excuse to escape responsibility, knowing they'll be criticized later.
However, this Prime Minister Aso showed an un-Japanese level of skill, accepting researchers and military personnel from dungeon-free countries like the Netherlands and Germany, which is how the current Toyota Dungeon came to be.
Toyota City is, after all, TOYOTA's home base, with the city's finances thriving. The city is clean, public facilities are comprehensive, and consequently, land prices are relatively high in the surrounding areas.
When a dungeon appeared in Toyota City and land prices plummeted, with wealthy residents fleeing, they invited personnel from both countries. They really handled it brilliantly.
Information was shared, forces were cooperated. Japan was happy to share risks, while the other side was happy to gain knowledge and experience. It was truly a win-win relationship.
Thanks to this, the Toyota Dungeon I'm about to enter is full of foreign people."
