A New Jyoti at 21
Jyoti stood at the airport gate, staring at her boarding pass. London. A place she once imagined visiting with Daniel, dreaming of a future they would build together. But she wasn't going there for love. Not anymore.
At 21 years old, Jyoti was no longer the naïve girl who once believed love could conquer all. She had healed from her mother's loss, built something meaningful for herself, yet a part of her remained haunted by the unanswered questions Daniel left behind. Why did he betray her? Why did he leave without a word?
She had spent the last few years becoming stronger, wiser, and now, it was time to rewrite the ending to their story—on her terms.
With her suitcase in hand, she took a deep breath and boarded the plane.

Landing in London
The cold London air hit her face as she stepped outside Heathrow Airport. The city felt unfamiliar, yet she had never felt more certain about where she was meant to be.
She had done her research. Daniel was successful, married, and living a life that seemed perfect. A life he built while erasing her from his past. But Jyoti had something he didn't—the truth.
She checked into a hotel, her mind buzzing with her plan. She had already gathered evidence of Daniel's past mistakes, career fraud, and personal deceptions. Now, it was time to make sure he faced the consequences.

The First Encounter
Jyoti arrived outside the office building where Daniel worked, standing across the street as employees walked in and out. Then, she saw him.
Daniel.
He was dressed in a crisp suit, looking polished, important. He was laughing with a colleague, completely oblivious to her presence.
A part of her expected him to sense her there, to feel the weight of her stare. But he didn't. Because to him, she didn't exist anymore.
But he was wrong.
Jyoti pulled out her phone and sent the first strike—an anonymous tip to a news outlet about his company's hidden corruption. She had emails, transactions, and proof. His world would begin to crumble soon.
For the first time, she smiled.

Meeting His Wife
Jyoti hadn't planned on meeting her—Daniel's wife. But fate had a cruel sense of humor.
She was at a café when she overheard someone mention his name. A woman, mid-twenties, blonde, beautiful. The kind of woman society deemed "perfect" for men like Daniel.
Jyoti leaned closer, listening. The woman was on the phone, frustration in her voice.
"Daniel, you've been distracted lately. What's wrong? You're acting strange."
Jyoti smirked. Oh, darling. You have no idea who your husband really is.
She made a snap decision. She walked up to her.
"Excuse me," Jyoti said, her voice steady. "Are you Daniel's wife?"
The woman looked confused but nodded. "Yes… do I know you?"
Jyoti smiled. "Not yet. But you will."
And with that, she slid an envelope across the table. Inside were photos, emails, and messages—proof of Daniel's betrayal. Not just to her, but to others.
"Take your time," Jyoti said. "But when you're ready to see who your husband truly is, open it."
She turned and walked away, leaving behind a storm that was about to break.

The Call
Later that night, Jyoti's phone rang. An unknown number.
She picked up. Silence. Then—his voice.
"Jyoti?"
She closed her eyes, gripping the phone tighter. After all these years, hearing him say her name still stung.
"I assume you got my message," she said coldly.
A sharp inhale. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to watch you fall, Daniel."
His voice wavered. "Jyoti, please. Can we talk?"
She laughed, a bitter sound. "Now you want to talk? After years of silence?"
"Things were complicated—"
"No. They were simple. You left me. You moved on. You erased me."
"I didn't erase you," he said, his voice softer. "I—"
"Save it." Jyoti cut him off. "I didn't come here for closure. I came to make sure you understand what betrayal feels like."
Silence. Then, a sigh. "Meet me. One last time."
Jyoti thought about it. Then, she made her choice.
"Fine," she said. "One last time."
She hung up.
Tomorrow, she would face him. And end this, once and for all.
