Chapter 97: Ghost Limbo

The creatures were all linked together, and there was no telling what alliances they had made. Valentius knew that, but he was sick and tired of hearing cries from burning buildings and of living in fear of the forest.

If the creatures didn't want to integrate, they would be against them. It was going to be a purge—a purge meant to weaken Wrath and see an end to all wars.

He knew that it was wrong. He knew that there would be no going back from that.

Those were creatures who had lived and loved—those who had their dreams.

But Valentius couldn't put the good of the few before the good of the many! This was not a question about whether one should keep their culture or religion!

This was a question of whether it was just for a group of magical creatures, who had been given all opportunities to integrate while keeping their identity, were supposed to be allowed to keep on butchering the humans!
