My name is Jin, and my life was perfect. I was a huge fan of webtoons—until I turned ten. That's when everything changed.
One by one, every manhwa I loved vanished from existence, as if they had never been created. Soon, only a single shoujo webtoon remained, and the entire world became obsessed with it. It wasn't just popular—it was an addiction. Even men couldn't stop reading that damn thing!
And all of this happened because of one cursed webtoon—"Shoujo Multiverse". It had taken over the world and had been running for nine long years. Now, only one month remained until its final chapter.
I couldn't stand it anymore. Everywhere I went, I was surrounded by advertisements for that wretched story. Even my friends wouldn't stop talking about it. There was no escape—not even in my dreams. I was on the verge of madness!
Then one day, at school, my teacher made an announcement:
— "To celebrate the release of the final chapter of Shoujo Multiverse, we will be holding a festival! All students are required to participate in a cosplay event as characters from the webtoon!"
That was the last straw. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
— "Enough! I refuse to take part in this nonsense!"
The classroom fell silent. Within moments, I was summoned to the principal's office. Not only that, but my parents were called in as well.
They were forced to sign a "rehabilitation form" for me. When I protested, saying that I had only voiced my opinion, I snapped again, cursing the webtoon right in front of them. That's when two security guards grabbed me and dragged me away.
My mother sobbed as she watched, whispering:
— "Don't worry, sweetheart… They're just going to help correct your behavior."
I was stunned. How could my own parents allow this? How could they sign that form without hesitation?
— "You'll be fine," my father reassured me.
Fine?!
No, what happened next was anything but fine.
As punishment, I was forced to summarize chapters of Shoujo Multiverse just to earn my daily meals!
Five chapters for breakfast. Ten chapters for lunch. Even going to the bathroom required summarizing three chapters!
Every single day was hell. I cried. I wanted to die. But I endured it.
Because I swore—once I got out of there, I would get my revenge on that cursed story.
Finally, with just one week left before the release of the final chapter, I made my decision: I would destroy it before the world could see it.
The moment I was released, my parents embraced me happily. The principal proudly declared that I had been "reformed." Even worse, they believed I had agreed to participate in the cosplay event.
I smiled and nodded. But inside? I was already plotting.
I applied to be one of the four students chosen to carry the final chapter at the festival. When I was selected, I seized my opportunity—by taking down the other three and snatching the chapter for myself.
Then, I started a live broadcast.
Laughing hysterically, I cursed the webtoon with every foul word I knew.
Before the security guards could stop me, I tore the chapter apart with my own hands.
At that moment, a blinding light engulfed everything. The world around me froze—before I was pulled into an unknown dimension.
When I opened my eyes, a short girl stood before me, glaring.
— "How dare you destroy the ending of my masterpiece?!"
I scoffed.
— "Masterpiece? Even a dog could write something better than this trash."
Her face twisted in fury. Raising her hand, she chanted a spell:
— "Then let's see how you like living in this world, you bastard!"
A powerful light surrounded me. My body was being dragged into nothingness.
When I regained consciousness, I was somewhere unfamiliar.
I looked around—then caught sight of a mirror.
The reflection staring back at me was not my own.
Black hair. Dark eyes. A completely different face.
Before I could even process what was happening, a glowing system window appeared before me.
— "Welcome to the multiverse of Shoujo."
My mind went blank.
— "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
