The synopsis makes you think this would be the opposite of a cliche story but everything so far is just the MC getting into cliche fights and scenarios. Is the mc different and also aware of the cliches? yes. That doesn’t change the fact that the author is writing the same cliche story. no spirit root mc? check. looked down on mc? check. somehow is in a relationship with the hottest and most talented girl in the story? check. Dumb villains every single chapter? check. The only thing different is the mc knows the cliches.
I have read up to the paywall at ch 21. This is a really well written story about a dude who try’s to avoid all cliches that exist in cultivation novels because he accepts his role as a side character. I personally really like it and it reminds me of another favorite of mine, “cultivation nerd”.
it's very interesting and i quite like the characters even with their limited numbers though i wonder how his system work with limits will it like go the usual path of other novels continously breaking through the limits of each technique until idk or will it go a more unqiue path of mastering many techniques then create his own before getting a spirital root
when i first saw the title i thought it would be a chinese translation but no this novel is a gem in making
writing 4 story 2 character 4 update eh, idk, still new, so yeah world background, still nothing, just a pavilion now. I don't like novels with problems from the start and more exaggerated problems that strictly go against the mc's personality, like wtf. and I don't see a romance tag, so in can he'll be single, better distance her from him cus I don't like to make an attachment to used goods in case she'll be having someone else. and make something with the exp, or else you'll have a headache with nonillions, etc, exp points by the time it's at the late stage of the novel or even more, ooof. (I'd be happy if it's more of a casual novel with this idea and don't make the fl a yandere cus it's annoying after a few chapters)
I didn't expect the way his cheat works to feel so damn satisfying. Romance is light atm but cute. I'm really excited about where this one is going, worth the premium chapters. It has a good pace too.
We’ve been japed, the novel description says that this is a story about a cautious MC who wants to grow powerful while staying low profile by avoiding cliche situations. Unfortunately, that’s not true at all. The MC might have had that intention, but is unable to execute his wishes and the cliches play out the same as all the rest of the novels. I couldn’t finish the free chapters because it’s not the story I wanted but maybe it might for you.
Author will it be single fl or harem? please let it be the former!
