Bug Bounty

"So, just to confirm what you're saying. You wake up one day, got ready in your normal routine when you feel unconsciousness in front your apartement building. Then you woke up in the hospital bed, with nothing out of the unsual you left for home only to find that everything seems to make seanse suddenly" Professor #2 said, with his arm on his chin. Aniket just nodded as he fell into deep thought.

"It doesn't make sense; all the brain waves are working normally, and the brain seems to be just fine except all neurons are rapid firing like they are in a free fire." Another added after looking at the papers that arrived from the test.

'Wait, that doesn't seem right. Uni?' Aniket thought invariably while maintaining a neutral expression outside.

[The machine is just scanning the energy output I give off]

'Can you turn it off?' Aniket asked

[Can you stop exhaling your breath?]

'You are getting way too sarcastic nowadays,' Aniket thought, with a twitch in his eyebrows. "Excuse me, professor, is it alright if I were to attend my other classes?" He asked, hoping to escape this hell. They looked at each other before an idea popped into their heads simultaneously.

"You said you were studying for other exams too, right?" Professor #1 said.

"Um…Yes," Aniket said, then realized his mistake as all the professors looked like they would devour him in an instant.

'I wrote 50 fu**ing research papers, from economics to mechanical,' Aniket thought continued to drift as he walked home from an exhausting day. 'Although the university promised me a degree and a PHD even depending on how important the research paper is, well, my paper on artificial intelligence and physics formula got me a PHD on them, while the rest are just degrees since I specifically asked Uni to make the minor discovery. Not a discovery, just an adjustment to already existing papers. Now that all this is over, I need to think of business right now.

I am 21 years old, with my entire net worth combined equals 1.2 lakes from various works I did and a small amount from a lottery. I need more than 90 cores rupees (~1 million us dollars) to make the grand entrance I want. What to do? Seek investors? Nah, I would like to have control over the company since it is going to become something big in the future. Plus, I have way too big of an ego now since I got the system to even beg some stranger for money.

Now what else is there if I were to sell some minor products to companies? This could work, but then it would have to be small enough to not cause great waves Plus, there is no guarantee that they will pay big money. Then it just means that I will need to bring them under my thumb so they have to pay me. What can I do?'

Aniket was already in his bed before he knew it himself; while he was thinking about all this, the academic world outside was going crazy due to the 50 research papers he wrote. No one knows it now, but later, these papers are going to become a book and be collectively called The Book of Beganus or, in English, The Book of Beginning.

"Aniket, Aniket, ANIKET," Professor #9 yelled his students name outloud. Meanwhile, Aniket, who was sleeping, suddenly woke up with a jerk and said

"I am sorry, Sir."

"Stay after class" The professor said without anything else and continued to teach the class. As time passed, the class ended, and a majority of the students found themselves leaving the classroom. Aniket walked up to the professor with a sheepish grin as he said

"I am truly sorry, sir."

"It's alright. Is it about the popularity?" The professor asked. His voice hinted a concern for his student who just found such a miraculous genius. 'I can't let this get to is head,' he thought, reading himself to give a speech about not becoming arrogant and all.

"Huh? Oh that. I did not even look at how they were doing. I am thinking of something else." Aniket said, immediately busting any thoughts of looking cool that the professor might have. His chest deflated a little as he dropped his head but asked.

"What might you have this worried?"

"You know about my situation, since I was a orghan, I depended on the government to pay for all my things. While I do have quite a bit saved up, recently, due to my sudden enlightenment, I had this business invention. I want to start a business, but the capital required is also a great amount." Aniket said with a sigh, he was careful as to not let the professor know the invention yet diviledged enough information to explain his current predicament.

"I see…Did you try seeking out investors? People would likely invest in you after they hear your track record. I can connect you with some of my friends. They are experts in the industry with quite a bit of money racked up," the Professor said.

"Um…" Aniket thought of something to say, he couldn't admit that he was just a control freak. He racked his brain until he just decided to tell him the truth. In a hushed whisper, he said, "I don't want to lose control over my invention". The prospersor was sharp enough to catch what he said and looked at him with surprise, before sighing and said

"It is not good to have a grip on everything, Aniket. Sometimes, letting things go is the best way."

Aniket looked down, 'I can't let things go otherwise; they will slip my grip and then…' But the professor cut his thoughts off by saying

"I guess, at first, you do need the grip, but remember this, Aniket. At some point in your life, you will come across things that you can't control. If you try, it will only lead to you getting hurt. Learn to let things go, Aniket." The professor said. "But currently, I would suggest you go into the hacking industry and find some major bugs. You could then sell these bugs to the company for money. This is called Bug bounty, although the majority of hackers won't even be able to find a major bug. If it is you, then I believe it."
