As we look back on everything that led to Hope, it's impossible not to feel a sense of gratitude. The journey hasn't always been easy, but every struggle has shaped us into who we are today. The challenges, the hardships, the setbacks—they have all played a role in helping us become stronger, more resilient, and more connected as a group.
One of the most impactful moments during the making of Hope came when we took a step back and reflected on our journey. We thought about the years we had spent together—our debut, our growth, the highs and the lows. And in that moment of reflection, we realized just how far we had come.
We had started out as trainees, unsure of our place in the industry. We had faced criticism, doubts, and setbacks, but through it all, we kept going. We had learned from every mistake, every failure, and every success. And now, looking back, we were no longer just a group of boys trying to make it in the industry—we were a family, united by a shared purpose and a love for our craft.
"Fly" was a song that embodied that sense of reflection. It was about looking back on everything we had been through and realizing that we had come out stronger on the other side. It was about celebrating the journey, the growth, and the resilience that had gotten us to where we were. The song had a sense of nostalgia, but also a feeling of hope for the future. It was a reminder that, no matter what challenges lay ahead, we were ready to face them together.
