He stood up dramatically and marched toward the front to hand in his resignation.

It lasted exactly five seconds.

Ayane (leaning against the counter, smirking): "Where do you think you're going?"

Ryo: "Uh… home?"

Haruka (narrowing eyes): "Not before you clean Table 5."

Misaki (crossing arms): "And restock the storage room."

Reika (smiling): "Oh my~ Butlers don't just leave their jobs, you know?"

Ryo felt a cold sweat.

Ryo: "H-Hold on. I'm quitting. You can't force me to stay."

She pulled out a contract.

Since escaping failed, Ryo decided to get fired on purpose.

The next day, he slacked off as hard as possible.

The girls stared.

Haruka: "...You were jogging this morning."

Ryo: "W-What? No, I wasn't!"

Misaki: "I literally have security footage."

Reika: "Ara~ should I call the hospital and check for you?"

Ayane (cracking knuckles): "Or I could make your injury real?"

At the end of the day, Ryo was still stuck at the café.
