CHAPTER 7: BATHROOM ACCIDENT

The events of the previous day clung to Kara like a shadow she couldn't shake.

Her thoughts were a chaotic mess, darting between Rox's attitude and her accidental detour into someone else's bedroom.

She groaned, burying her face into her hands. It had been an overwhelming day.

And now, as she sat on the edge of her bed, she realized she'd completely forgotten to shower.

The realization made her cringe. She was obsessive about cleanliness, and skipping a shower was practically a crime in her book.

With a frustrated sigh, she grabbed a towel, tore off her dress, and wrapped herself in the soft fabric.

Determined to wash away the lingering tension, she ventured down the hallway in search of the bathroom.

The hallway felt like a maze, every door mocking her with its silence.

Finally, she found what she assumed was the bathroom. Without hesitation, she turned the doorknob and stepped inside.

The sound of rushing water hit her ears first, followed by the sight that made her freeze in her tracks.

There he was, Rox, soaking wet and completely exposed, the water cascading down his perfectly sculpted body.

His muscles stretched and flexed as he ran his hands through his hair, unaware of her presence.

Her heart leapt into her throat, and she slapped a hand over her mouth to stifle a scream.

Her cheeks burned as she took a shaky step backward, her mind screaming at her to leave.

Kara stumbled out of the bathroom, pressing her back against the door as she struggled to catch her breath.

The image of him, every perfect detail, was seared into her memory.

Her pulse raced, her chest rising and falling rapidly. What the hell did I just see?

"Jesus, you're glowing like a tomato," a deep voice drawled beside her.

She jumped, turning too quickly to face the green-eyed boy from last night, Rai. His disheveled hair and amused smirk only added to his infuriating personality.
