Out of the realms... After Haneul's sudden dissaperance. Hana lays on her bed crying thinking this is all her fault.
Why, why... She cries softly, missing the person who would always comfort her when she needed it the most.
Seon on the other hand, suddenly wakes up from his slumber. What the hell?! What the heck was that dream?! Seems like he had just woken up from his nightmare, his blue eyes staring into the mirror. Had I just lost consciousness the past hours?... Shouldn't I be at work right now..? He mumbles.
Until he checks his phone, 56 unread messages from Haneul's mother.
: You sick fool!! What did you do to my son?!
: Bring him back you monster!!
And so on... Seon stares in disbelief, somehow not knowing what he had done.
H-Huh?! He check his other messages, gaining praises from his coworkers on being a hero. He decided to contact Hana, for further explanation on what had happened.
: Hana! What happened at work?! Why am I getting messaged by Haneul's mom?
*Read.* His message was left on read, Hana doesn't even think an answer. She's sick of him. For falsely accusing her "important person".
The next day, At Redworks Corps. Seon was working on a new project called "Clockwork Destiny". A momentum based game featuring time stopping mechanics.
From when he was a kid, he always loved watches, clocks, anything involving time. He knew time is something to be desired, he was always the one to be as early as possible to meeting, or anywhere else.
He wanted to run a smartwatch store at a mall but got interested with making games instead.
It was lunchtime. Everyone got up from their seats and went to the cafeteria to get some food.
Before Haneul entered the realms, the three of them would always sit together at the same spot. (The back of the cafeteria furthest from everyone else.)
They would always share their ideas on the project they're working on. Hana would always praise Haneul for his amazing works. Which made Seon felt a little bit left out.
When Seon got to the table where they would always sit, Hana wasn't anywhere near.
She was sitting with her other coworkers and doesn't bat an eye at Seon, meanwhile the others welcome Seon for a seat.
When Seon sat down, Hana made an excuse to go the bathroom, leaving in a hurried motion.
What the hell is that guy still doing here?! He should've dissapeared instead of staying here... Matter of fact... Why haven't they checked the cameras? Or is this company too broke to even afford one?! Hana complains, her yapping never ending.
She then opens her phone, entering her notes and writes something new in her diary. (Yes, she has a diary in her notes on her phone.)
She returns to the table, but takes her food and makes a leave. Sorry guys... Need something to do with my work real quick...! She doesn't even wave to her friends.
Seon, still confused asks her coworkers. What exactly had happened yesterday. W-What really happened yesterday?.. Seon stutters a bit.
Oh, you forgot? You saved Hana from being assaulted!.. Or even worst... One of them says, Oh don't say it like that...! One of her friends cuts the sentence. Yeah!
Uhhm... Right... Seon stood up. I also got something to do... He makes an excuse. He then stormed off, running to Hana's desk.
Hana! Can you just explain?? Seon asks in a distressed voice. Why should I? I think you know what you did. Hana's face turns into a bad mood.
What the hell did I do?! Seon shouts at Hana. You made him dissapear! When he got home, and when I came to comfort him, he was just... Gone! I saw a silhouette of him dissapearing! Hana shouts back, making a commotion.
What do you mean he dissapeared?! Seon become more and more confused, as if he lost his memories or something.
Enough! Get out of here, monster! Hana pushes him to the door, pointing out.
When Haneul first heard the bell rang, his vision didn't go completely black... His vision was sped up. The last thing he saw was someone opening the door. Then he fully blacked out.
What... Exactly is the 7 realms...?
Entering Haneul's memories, his father would kept saying the same thing. If he sees you doing something bad, he will send you to the 7 realms. Over and over everyday, when Haneul was going to sleep. The word "bad" changing overtime to "crime".
But Haneul never did a crime. If this "thing" will send the wrongdoers to the realms... Wouldn't there be more people just like Haneul? Some that actually did something wrong and some that was falsely accused.
But everything happened so suddenly. It was just a normal day and everything unfolded so fast.
When Haneul became a vessel for the abyssal king 7 days had already passed in the real world. 1 hour = 1 day in the realms.
The 7 realms, would torment people. Giving bits of them for monsters to eat. People would either die, the first five realms or die at the last one.
Depending on the person's life, the realms would alter to be their biggest fear. Tuning into different systems where the person could barely survive.
Since Haneul's whole life is about games. He obtained a system UI, powers and a chance to survive.
Back in the realms, Haneul gripped his sword, charging forward and single-handedly kills every monster in the area. Gaining him 1400 coins.
By the time he is finished, he was exhausted. Lying on the ground, he opened his shop to find something to survive with but there were no resources. Only weapons.
So he bought...
[HEAVEN'S FANG]
[1,200 Coins.]
He held the sword, flaming with a heavenly aura, it trust Haneul as it's holder.
He walked to the next area, upgrading his stats, Making him stronger and stronger. And so did the monsters. Every creature he was seeing right now was atleast Tier 3. Shadow mage, Shadow skeletens, Shadow crawlers.
Flesh stuck on the heaven's fang like a skewer, He had only killed 60 of the enemy's wave.
Shit... I might not have enough stamina... I have to hold my stance! He held his sword upfront, cutting anything that sprinted torwards him. Now it was time to deal with the mages. The annoying ones according to Haneul.
Argh! He was hit with a fireball on his shoulder. He activates Flame Incitement and his sword enlargens with a blazing aura. Heat up his skin.
Killing every shadow mage that was trying to kill him.
[2760 coins.]
It was finally turning daytime, he spent the entire night in the realms fighting monsters.
He wandered off into the forest, but still mapoing out where he left to go into the forest so that he wouldn't be confused where he should continue next.
He finds a perfect spot to rest, by a tree in the middle of the forest. He sits down, resting on the tree. Yawning before falling asleep.
One day I'll return... He mumbles in his sleep before completely dozing off.
Five hours later.
Haneul wakes up, yawning before stretching his arms.
What should I be doing now...? He asks himself before a new voice speaks.
Well hello, rascal. A figure leaps from a tree. Did you have any dreams?
What?! Who are you?... Haneul grabs his sword and points it at the anonymous.
Woah, woah... Chill. I am Regleis. I protect the boundaries of this realm to make sure no criminals cross the borders rather than comepleting the areas... Regleis crosses his arms, putting up an annoyed face. Probably from his past experiences.
W-Wait? Criminals?!... I don't get it... Haneul scratches his head thinking of every possibilities.
Didn't you... Do something like... I don't know... Stealing? Those kinds of stuff? Regleis tilts his head showing curiosity.
Huh?! I didn't even do something like that and I just end up here! Haneul rattles at Regleis.
Huh, sounds like a fake story to me. Regleis rolls his eyes.
It's not okay?! I was falsely accused of harassing my colleague and I was freaking sent here...! Haneul snapped.
Okay, fine... I believe you. Regleis puts up a forced face. Anyways, your name?
L-Lee Haneul... He replies slowly. Unsure if he actually should be answering to this stranger.
Ooh? A korean? How great. I've killed like seventy-eight asian in this one realm. Mind being the seventy-ninth? Regleis draws his sword.
Huh!? Haneul points the sword even firmly towards Regleis.
I hope you put up a challenge. Regleis dashes forward, swinging his sword in an attempt to slice Haneul in half.
But Haneul blocks the hit with his sword, forming a great clash between swordsman.
Not bad...! Regleis backs down, but lunges again. Cutting a slice of Haneul's shoulder.
Ack! Bastard! Haneul returns the blow, slicing off Regleis's left leg. Amputating him.
Urgh! Not yet! Regleis refuses to surrender and keeps charging. His movements untrackable. Regleis activates his skill. "Shadow Chains". The chains tightens around Haneul, making him suffocate.
Arghh!!.. Ngh..! Haneul tries to breathe whilst his stomach is constantly in pain... Then an angelic voice calls out his name.
The voice echoes in his hear, and his sword. Heaven's Fang starts to glow a blazing aura.
Haneul cuts the chains with ease activating his skills, "Flame Incitement", "Abyssal Wrath". His sword erupts in a blue flame.
How about now, Regleis?! Haneul smirks, the flame heatinf up the area.
Ugh... Futile trick! Both of them charged towards eachother. Regleis's sword shines an eerie purple. Causing a great clash once again.
Haneul puts all of his power into his arms, disarming the sword from Regleis's hand and sends him flying into a tree.
Agh..! Regleis spews blood. As he lies down out of breath next to the tree.
You're just a mere obstacl- Haneul gets cut off by Regleis.
So he was right... You are worthy. I didn't know that bastard would pick you... Regleis mutters nonsense according to Haneul.
What...? Haneul gets confused easily. What do you mean worthy?... Wait, how did you know about?!... Haneul turns from his confusion back to Regleis but he was no where to be seen.
You've got to be kidding me... Haneul mumbles with an annoyed tone...
