After the first rays of sunlight arrived, I opened my eyes, stood up and took a cloth to clean my face.
Going down the stairs I met my mother, who was apparently about to talk to me.
"Oh, I see you've already woken up, well, come on let's eat."
"Yes." I replied dryly.
"Hey Jomei, are you okay?" Kazuko asked, just before starting to eat. Apparently she had noticed me a little distant since I went down the stairs.
"Yes."
After continuing to eat and seeing that I hadn't touched the food, my worried mother asked me.
"Are you really okay? You haven't touched the food."
To which I again answered with a simple yes. But I didn't answer the rest of the question.
Suddenly my mother stood up and walked over to where I was. "Jomei." She yelled very close to my ear, which made me get excited and grab the table.
"Why did you do that?"
"I'm sorry, but you weren't acting like yourself."
After hearing these words from my mother I understood what was happening. "I'm sorry, it's just that I didn't get a good night's sleep last night."
"I see, but why is that?"
I raised my shoulders as if I didn't know what had happened.
"It must be because you have the meeting with the patriarch today and that's why you couldn't sleep." Kazuko commented jokingly.
When I heard this my eyes widened, which didn't go unnoticed by my mother and Kazuko.
"Jomei, what have you done?" My mother asked worriedly.
"Nothing, yesterday I just went to train with Kai at the same place as always."
"And what else?" My mother's face did not show any change in her features, but I knew perfectly well that this could cost me a few blows.
"Mom, I swear, you can ask Kai."
"Alright, finish eating quickly and we will go corroborate your story."
After this little situation, I quickly ate my food. When we went out we saw that Kai's mother and even Kai himself were waiting outside our house.
This puzzled us all.
"Miya, what are you all doing here?" my mother asked.
"Well, we saw that you also received the notification to attend with the patriarch, so we decided to go together."
My mother asked, bewildered, "How?"
"Yes, last night after a person notified us of the meeting, we saw that he also stopped by his house."
"Mhh, I see, well, we were already leaving, so we are going together." After which my mother sketched a smile.
As we walked towards Madara's house, I retreated from the rest along with Kai.
"Hey, do you know why we were sent to talk?" I asked quickly.
"No, but if the patriarch sent us to talk, it's probably because it's a good thing."
To which I rolled my eyes, this idiot doesn't even know what kind of person Madara is.
After failing to get any information out of Kai, I turned to my mother, but not before telling Kai not to comment on anything about our training.
"Hey mom, how should one properly greet the patriarch?" I asked sincerely, I wouldn't have liked to leave a bad impression and much less anger this evil final boss.
"Well, you have to kneel with only one foot, while your left arm is completely straight and touching the ground, while your right hand is clenched next to your heart."
"I see, thank you very much, mom."
"You see Kai, you should learn a lot of things from Jomei."
"But mom, Jomei spends all day training." Kai replied, while rolling his eyes.
"Exactly, that's why you should go to Jomei's house early tomorrow."
Kai was excited by his mother's statement, so he tried to change what his mother had just said, but like every mother, she didn't back down from her decision.
"By the way Jomei, what time do you start your training?"
"I try to wake up at 7 in the morning, to start my training at 8."
After a series of tantrums from Kai and Miya who didn't back down a step, we quickly arrived at the entrance of the patriarch's house.
From the outside, the difference in status could be seen, as the patriarch's house in its entirety encompassed about 5 normal houses.
In addition, its structure faithfully represented the status of the patriarch, as it had many exquisite decorations and reliefs.
When we presented ourselves to the staff guarding the main door, they asked us to wait a few moments before giving us permission to enter.
When we entered the mansion, we were taken to the second floor, although it was not noticeable that there was much security, and not even many staff were seen. Except for the cleaning staff.
When we finally arrived at an imposing door, the person who guided us opened the door and a person could be seen, who had long hair tied up and drinking a cup of tea.
In addition, he had several lit incense sticks, which gave off a relaxing aroma.
After entering, Kai stepped forward and in front of this person performed the actions that my mother had previously described.
When this person saw him, he raised the corners of his lips and said. "I think they are looking for my brother, he is in the next room."
"I'm sorry young Izuna, I have been a little indulgent with my son, I will have to educate him better."
Wait, that was Izuna Uchiha, Madara's brother, has he not died yet? It seemed a little strange to me, but when I saw him clearly, he did resemble the character I had seen about Izuna.
I stared at him for a few moments before entering the next room. Which did not go unnoticed by him.
But we had already crossed the door, so this matter would surely be settled when we left. I must stop fooling around, but this matter with Madara has left me on edge, so I haven't been able to think properly.
Inside the room, only the hair of a person could be seen. He was standing behind a large pile of papers on a table.
"Now what happens?" Madara replied in his typical deep and emotionless voice.
"Patriarch, we have brought the people you requested." commented the person who had guided us.
After that, a creaking sound was heard coming from the chair Madara was sitting on. As he stood up, I instantly realized that this person was the patriarch of the clan.
As he looked identical to the character I had seen in the anime. As Madara stood up and stood right in front of us, my hands began to feel sticky.
Because of the fear I had at that moment, but the next second, both my mother and Kai's mother performed the actions that my mother had mentioned, so both Kai and I performed this action.
Madara did not react to this, he only made a movement with his hand, for us to stand up. Seeing that we were all standing again, he said.
"I will be brief, I do not want you to go back to the training camp that you built." His gaze, although it was fixed, felt like his eyes could stare at me.
"Don't worry patriarch, I will take care of supervising them and prohibiting them from going to this place again." My mother quickly spoke and did not deny the patriarch's orders.
"I hope so." Madara replied, but suddenly a voice was heard from outside the room, the same voice that came from Izuna.
"But to compensate for the change, a community field has been built, in which everyone can attend to practice." After saying this, the door opened and Izuna entered.
"If you like, I can accompany you to see this new construction, although it is not finished, but in a few days you will be able to attend." Izuna showed a kind smile when commenting this.
But the next moment the sound of a growl interrupted us, and at least for me, it made my hair stand on end.
"Brother, it seems you have finished with the duties I entrusted to you, right?" While Madara commented this, he sketched a smile, which was completely different from Izuna's.
While Izuna scratched his head, he commented. "Sorry, it seems I have a few things to do, but Takao will accompany you." Referring to the person who had accompanied us.
At that moment, we all greatly appreciated Izuna's gesture, and of course the patriarch, having concluded this matter, we began to leave, but I decided to thank Izuna in a different way.
"Excuse me young Izuna, I would like to know if you could help me with a matter."
"Of course, tell me, what can I help you with?" Izuna asked as he put a hand on my shoulder.
After this gesture, I smiled slightly and asked him. "Do you think that the three magatama sharingan is the strongest power of our clan?"
This question took him completely off guard, his smile disappeared, his gaze had become completely contemplative at my question, but that only happened for a couple of seconds.
The next moment he moved his gaze to the room we had left and with a stoic look he answered. "I don't think that is the limit of our lineage, but I don't know if your question can have an answer at this moment."
After which he turned his gaze to me and showed me a smile full of expectation. At that moment I understood what he was talking about, he already knew that Madara had the mangekyo sharingan, but apparently his brother didn't tell him how he got those eyes.
"By the way, do you think that prolonged use of those eyes can facilitate advancement to the next level?" I asked the next question while the steel was still red hot.
"Haha, it seems as if you already have the answer that our clan hasn't obtained in centuries." Izuna answered with a slightly confused look.
"Do you think you could help me perform this experiment?" According to my knowledge, Itachi used the three-magatama open sharingan, surely that can help somewhat, although when he started doing this, it was after obtaining his mangekyo power.
But if this can help Izuna open his mangekyo before his final fight against Tobirama, I think we could gain some profits.
"Alright, I'll help you with this research." After saying this he opened his sharingan eyes, this was the first time I saw these eyes, since, my mother had never done it in front of me.
But this did not prevent my excitement that one day I could have these eyes, so, after gaining Izuna's support and even possibly helping him in the not too distant future, I retreated and ran to catch up with the rest of the group.
"Brother, why didn't you ask them about the mess they caused around the training area?"
"It doesn't matter, it seems that what they were working on was a type of wind jutsu, so it won't be of much use."
According to the Uchiha clan's thinking both at this time and in the decades to come, everyone was only interested in the use of fire-type ninjutsu, and the clan emblem was a fan with which fire becomes stronger.
"Brother, didn't you find the Jomei kid a little interesting?"
"No, besides that he possibly created a new jutsu, but it seems that he trains well and it shows in his body, not like others." Saying this, his gaze that was focused on the stack of papers changed to look at his brother.
Izuna just sighed, as his brother did not see the same thing as him. A few years ago the Senju clan made a raid on the clan's territory, when the clan's forces were battling with members of various clans.
In that raid, countless people died, but Izuna noticed a few things. For example, among the dead that day were most of the clan's researchers.
These people were dedicated to creating various ninjutsus. For example, the creator of Izanami turned out to be one of them, among many who were looking for the same answer that Jomei had referred to minutes before.
After this incident, it was decided to stop the investigations due to lack of personnel, but this labor force was assigned to some battlefields, to stop the advance of these clans.
Although thanks to this sacrifice made by the members of the clan, we have revitalized the clan and live in relative peace, the truth is that we lose many members on the battlefield every day.
Upon being aware of this information, Izuna focused on finding these people who would dedicate themselves to research, but the reality was that it was almost impossible.
The few people who wanted to dedicate themselves to research, at some point had to leave for a battle front, making their efforts yield little results.
"Brother..." Before continuing, he stopped talking, let out a small sigh and retracted, he knew perfectly well that it would be useless to talk to Madara about it, since his brother was only focused on the battle.
"I'll go do my homework." After this he left, but Madara knew perfectly well what his brother wanted, but he also understood that, if a person did not show strength, he would be left lying somewhere without being able to return to see his relatives.
Just like what happened with his father, although Tajima had a lot of power, he died on the battlefield. Although he did not go alone, but also took the life of the patriarch of the Senju clan.
Which made Madara think that if you died on the battlefield, you would at least have to prove that your strength is at least worthy of eliminating your opponent before perishing.
Besides the fact that something that upset him was that his brother did not take his training seriously, he had potential, but still.
...
After 10 minutes of travel we arrived at the place where the new training camp was currently being built.
Apparently they had just started building it, since they had only flattened the ground and there were a few logs, but at least now we know where the training camp will be.
They told us that in about two days it would be completely built, so we thanked Takao for his attention and each of us left for our homes.
As for me, I was more relaxed, I almost feared for my life, but that was because I knew perfectly well why he said what Madara said.
That was because we couldn't continue attending our training camp, and that was because it was close to the place where he and Hasirama had gotten to know each other.
But since it wasn't a big deal in the end and the matter was solved relatively easily, I decided to focus on what was more important at the moment.
And that was indeed training, so in my backyard I began to train, but this time I was not alone.
Kai, at the request of his mother, had begun to come to my house from that very day.
