Chapter 36; Polite good looking guys still exist

This was truly right but Canary had never paid attention to it.

" Okay Micheal, Stay out of whatever happens. And don't let my Mom know." He said and they walked again.

' Don't you know that she is the hired me to spy on you ?'

Micheal asked innery.

Lisa and Nicky were coming back from the cafeteria when they met Canary and Micheal.

" There comes Mr Canary, Let's go and greet him." Nicky said and pulled Lisa's hand before she could escape.

' My God ! This is what I was trying to avoid.'

Lisa spoke in her head as they went over to the two men.

" Greetings Mr Canary.." Nicky greeted politely.

" Greetings." Canary responded and his focus went to Lisa who was looking away in much embrassement.

She got the coarage to look at him and said.

".. G…Gr..Greetings…. Mr Canary.." She said in stammers and swallowed hard on glancing at him and the memory of the kiss came to het again. Her heart begun racing.

" Greetings.." Canary responded normally and walked away.

" Oh my… He's handsome everyday." Nicky muttered.

When she looked at Lisa she realized that Lisa was lost already to another world.

" Hi, Lisa..Are you okay ?" Nicky asked.

" Huh.." Lisa just came back reality.

" What are you thinking about ?" Nicky asked.

" ..I… am..nothing. Let's go !" Lisa said.

They went back to their office but Lisa's heart couldn't stop racing so she got some water and took a glass which calmed her down.

" I'm fine.." She was so happy after relaxing and she sat back on her seat.

As she was jubilating she saw piles of files put on her desk and looked up only to see Jenny.

" Take those files to the CEO's office right now." Jenny ordered.

" what ?" Lisa asked.

" You have heard me, I am not repeating myself." Jenny left after this.

Lisa looked at the pile of files which were so many and wondered how she was going to carry them.

She looked around and saw a box which she got and put all the files.

She carried it and headed to Canary's office. The box was little bigger that it covered half of her face and she wasn't seeing part of the things in front.

" Excuse me..excuse me.." She said when she heard footsteps coming towards her so that she doesn't knock the people she was meeting on the way.

She walked successfully to the office floor but before she could reach the door she accident bumped into someone and the box fell scattering all the files to the ground.

" I am so sorry…" She said immediately with a bow that didn't allow her to see the person she had knocked and after she knelt to pick the files.

As she did this she saw a male hand helping her to pick the files.

Whoever this person was he wore a very expensive golden watch that forced Lisa to look up at who he was.

He was a young handsome gentleman who looked about his late twenties. From The suit he was putting on and his general looks, he wasn't just a casual worker or person here.

Lisa got scared at the moment and got up immediately.

" I'm sorry sir, I didn't see you coming." She said.

To her surprise the man looked at her and smiled as he continued picking up the books for her into the box.

After he stood up and he was as well tall and in a good shape.

" It's alright." He said calmly.

Lisa relieved a sigh of relief and to her other bewilder he picked the box and handed it to her.

" Here you go !" He said.

" Huh…Thanks Sir." Lisa said with a low bow.

The man smiled again and walked away. Lisa turned behind to look at him as she was really impressed.

' At least polite good looking guys still exist !'

She thought and continued to the office where she reached and made a knock.

Canary was on his computer inside when he heard the knock.

"'Come in !" He said.

Lisa struggled to open the door and

went inside where Canary was just taking coffee. He looked relaxed but Lisa didn't get a Chance to see him until she put the box down.

" I was told that you wanted this." She said and turned to leave when Canary's voice stopped her,

" Why are you in rush ?" He asked.

Lisa of course didn't want to face him so she didn't turn around.

" I was still doing some work." She spoke with her back facing him which puzzled him and forced him to get up.

She heard his footsteps and held her self still. He went to her and stood right in front of her which forced Lisa to look up at him.

The moment their eyes met her heart which had calmed begun racing again.

" What's wrong ? Are you okay ?" He asked with confusion written on his face.

" I'm fine .." She said and looked away from his immediately.

" I want to have a personal talk with you." He spoke.

' Personal talk ? Can't he speak from here ?'

Lisa asked herself innery as she still gathered the courage to look at him.

" ..W..What..what do you want to talk about ?" She asked her face still away from his direction.

He chuckled wondering what she was on.
