Chapter 42; Lisa….

" I love you" Canary replied and after they parted for their rooms.

The day that followed, Canaru went for his morning exercise since it was a Saturday and after he went back to the Mansion and had a shower which after he dressed into a narvy blue t shirt , Black fitting pants and pure white sneakers. He didn't need to be formal since it was a weekend and a day off but he had to go Joint Media to see how the Movie practice went.

He drove to the place himself and found Micheal there later.

Micheal had gone earlier and he was also in casual wears.

They went together inside why they were welcomed and then taken to the hall where the movie practice was taking place.

There were a number of people there including the directors and a few members that worked in the Company.

Among them stood a young handsome man who watched how everything was done closely. He was the same man Lisa had knocked with a box of files at Andersons Company.

When he saw and noticed Canary he went over to him.

" You came earlier than I thought." The man said to Canary.

" I take business so serious. That's why ." Canary replied.

" Sounds great. I am likely to enjoy working with you." He young man said and stood right besides Canary to watch with him.

He was Denis Williams. The Chief Director of Joint Media. He was very young and handsome and also known of coming from a wealth family in Annertoz.

This was because Joint Media was one of the best Movie and Music Producing Companies.

Lisa arrived late but she was welcomed and allowed inside. She begun walking to the hall as she had been directed and when she there she looked around to trace Canary but she couldn't see him.

While she looked around she saw a familiar face.

" Where did I see this man from ?" She tried to remember until the memory of the man she knocked with a box of files came to her.

She smiled and hurried over to him.

" Greetings Sir.." She spoke with a smile.

" Greetings .." Denis responded.

" I am Lisa..Do you remember me Sir ?" Lisa asked.

Denis narrowed his eyes in trying to remember her but he didn't seem to recognize her.

Lisa hadn't stopped smiling and she said.

" We met at Andersons Group Last Tuesday I am the girl who knocked you with a box of files and you helped me pick them. Do you remember ?" Lisa asked.

At this time Canary who was standing on the other side saw them.

He was surprised by the smile on Lisa's face while she spoke even though he couldn't hear what they were saying she looked like she knew this man so well.

" Ooh, I remember you." Denis ended up smiling from her long explanation.

" That's wow. Thank you for helping me again." Said Lisa.

" It's alright." He said.

" So… Do you work here ?" Lisa asked.

" Yes.." Denis answered.

" It was great meeting you again. I also have some business here. I will first look for my boss." Lisa said and excused herself.

She got her phone and rung Canary to ask where he was. Canary was seeing everything and when she called he got his phone and put it on his ear.

" I have arrived Sir. But I can't see you." She reported.

He shook his head and then walked to her. She was still looking around until she finally saw him.

She ended the call and went over to meet with him.

" I am sorry for arriving late. I was caught by jam." She said.

" Did you really arrive late ? It you were busy talking to your friends from here ?" Canary asked.

" I don't have friends here. I just met some kind person that I knew." Lisa answered.

" Kind person ? What do you mean ?" Canary asked.

" I mean somowjo is exactly the opposite of you." Lisa responded.

" You mean I am unkind ?" He asked not believing her.

" You used to be. But a little has changed in you." Lisa said and then decided to focus on the actors who were acting.

Canary shook his head not believing her.

" Is this what you wanted me to see ?" She asked.

" Yeah, You have to master all the actors and their roles so that you easily know the designs that suit them." Canary said.

" That's something easy to do." Lisa answered with a smile and paid more attention.

Later after the practice Lisa went to take the measurements of the actors.

Canary sat down with Micheal besides him.

" She looked more devoted to her work." Micheal said as they watched Lisa take the measures.

" That's because you don't know the other side of her." Canary said.

" You seem to know her so much." Micheal said.

" She's one of the hardest , craziest and dumbest girls I have ever seen." Canary said.

" You description of her is funny. But for me I think she's cute !" Micheal said.

When Canary heard this he didn't say more. He took more time to observe Lisa and his mind went back to how beautiful she looked at the party and then the kisses he shared with her. He remembered her funny face expressions when she's serious or afraid to face him and with all those thoughts he also concluded.

' He's right. I guess she's cute !'

He said this in his mind. His mind and eyes were still stuck on her and this helped him to notice that where Lisa stood were some posters advertising for the movies and one which was just above was getting loose from the stands that had been used to support it.

Canary realized that if the poster fell it was going to hit Lisa and without a second second he got up and called her name.

" Lisa…."

He called her name making her turn to face him and without a second he ran towards her.

Lisa saw eveything happen in slow motion as Canary ran towards her for a reason she didn't know but in just five seconds he was there and he hugged her in his arms at the moment the poster was falling and it hit his back.

Lisa opened her eyes In shock and so was everyone who saw this happening.

The poster got broken and fell onto the ground after hitting Canary.

The others rushed and picked it off and they stood a circle around Canary and Lisa.

After receiving that pain Canary released Lisa from the hug and looked at her with worry.

" Lisa, Are you okay ?" He asked with much concern.

" I am fine. It hit you, Are you fine ?" She asked.

" Mmm" He nodded.

" Are you okay ?" Micheal just came in to ask.

" I am good." Canary answered.

" We are really sorry for what just happened." Denis came forward and apologized to them.

" It's okay.." Canary said.

" The Poster hit him. Is there a sickbay around we take him for a checkup ?" Lisa asked with much worry.

" Yes.. This way sir" Denis said.
