Chapter 10

Upon waking up again, Melody told me that Fintan would be blind for the rest of his life.

He had agreed to donate, but his manager adamantly refused.

They even locked him up.

In desperation, he used a knife to cut out his pupils.

As a result, the nerves were completely dead, with no possibility of transplant ever again.

Hearing this, a wave of indescribable complexity welled up in my heart.

It all seemed like a cycle.

Before I was discharged, Melody asked if I wanted to go see Fintan.

I heard that whenever footsteps sounded, he would turn his head and call out my name.

He had been waiting for me to visit him.

I shook my head and said forget it.

Compared to him, I wanted to see the little dog that had been with me for three years.

I flipped through the photos one by one, my eyes full of tenderness.

I gently stroked its head with my finger and said softly:

"So, you were golden yellow."

"How cute."
