Realm Of Qi

Within the Realm of Qi, a colossal red portal materialized in the sky, its presence heralded by an otherworldly energy. Zhilong, with Shu Shu perched upon his back, descended gracefully onto a venerable brick bridge, the portal's radiance dissipating mere moments after their arrival.

As the portal's remnants vanished, Zhang Wei and Xiao Yu emerged, their arrival marked by a stark contrast in elegance. Zhang Wei landed with poised agility, whereas Xiao Yu's entrance was somewhat less dignified, his face meeting the ground with a muffled thud.

"Welcome to the Realm of Qi," Zhilong declared, his tone laced with an air of expectation. "I must admit, I hadn't anticipated your decision to follow us, Zhang Wei."

Zhang Wei's countenance remained resolute, his voice firm. "Hand over Shu Shu, Zhilong. We will not depart without him."

Xiao Yu, still recovering from his inauspicious arrival, groaned softly as he regained his footing.

Zhilong's smile seemed to hold a hint of mischief. "You should be grateful, Zhang Wei. My portal freed you from the Realm of Void."

As Zhilong turned to address Shu Shu, Zhang Wei's patience began to wane. "Enough!" he exclaimed, his sword flashing in the soft light of the Realm. "We will not be swayed by your words, Zhilong."

Zhilong's demeanor remained tranquil, his voice measured. "This is not a place for conflict, Zhang Wei. The Realm of Qi is a land of serenity, where harmony reigns supreme."

Meanwhile, Xiao Yu and Shu Shu had wandered to the edge of the bridge, entranced by the breathtaking scenery unfolding before them. The gentle lapping of the water against the bridge's pillars, the vibrant flowers afloat upon the surface, and the majestic fish gliding effortlessly beneath the waves all combined to create a sense of enchantment.

"I never expected the Realm of Qi to be so... breathtakingly beautiful," Shu Shu observed, his voice tinged with a sense of wonder.

Xiao Yu's eyes sparkled with excitement. "For a realm rumored to be inhabited by demons, I am utterly speechless!"

Zhilong's smile seemed to grow, his eyes glinting with a knowing light. "See, Zhang Wei? There is no need for strife. Why not indulge in the beauty of this realm, and let your worries fade away?"

As Zhilong vanished into the surroundings, Zhang Wei's gaze narrowed, his thoughts consumed by the unfolding events. The sound of Xiao Yu's laughter, carried on the breeze, only served to deepen his concern.

"Xiao Yu, what are you doing? Do not become too complacent!" Zhang Wei called out, his voice laced with a hint of warning.

However, his words fell upon deaf ears, as Xiao Yu and Shu Shu had already disappeared into the Realm's majestic landscape, their footsteps echoing faintly in the distance.

As Shu Shu and Xiao Yu ventured into the resplendent thoroughfares of the Realm of Qi, they were met with a kaleidoscope of wondrous sights. A wolf figure, attired in traditional Hanfu, was engaged in a transaction with a pig humanoid, exchanging gold for unknown commodities. Nearby, a captivating, half naked enchantress shape-shifted into various forms, mesmerizing onlookers who showered her with gold coins. The rhythmic beats of drummers filled the air, as people from all walks of life danced with abandon.

A serpentine-scaled vendor, stationed before a humble stall, cried out in a sonorous voice, "Partake in my delectable dumplings, dear travelers!" His words caught Xiao Yu's attention, and he eagerly dragged Shu Shu toward the stall. The vendor, beaming with warmth, offered them a steaming bowl of dumplings. "Please, accept this humble offering, my friends."

Xiao Yu's eyes widened with gratitude. "We have no gold to reciprocate..." The vendor's smile never wavered. "Consider it a gift, travelers. You must be weary from your journey." Shu Shu's gaze lingered on the dumplings, a soft, enigmatic smile spreading across his face.

Just as they were about to partake in the offered repast, Zhang Wei appeared, his movements fluid and calculated. With a swift kick, he sent the bowl of dumplings flying. "Have you both taken leave of your senses? Those dumplings could have been poisoned!" Zhang Wei's voice was tinged with suspicion.

Xiao Yu's face fell, his disappointment palpable. "Zhang Wei, you fool! Look what you've done!" The serpentine vendor's expression darkened, his voice rising in indignation. "Poison? Why would I harm my patrons?"

Zhang Wei's gaze narrowed, his tone icy. "Because you are a demon." The atmosphere grew heavy with tension, until Zhilong materialized, his presence accompanied by an almost imperceptible snap of his fingers. In an instant, Zhilong, Shu Shu, Zhang Wei, and Xiao Yu found themselves within the majestic palace.

Zhilong's smile was tinged with a hint of reprimand. "Zhang Wei, refrain from sowing discord. Remember, you are a guest in the Realm of Qi, a land inhabited by powerful demons." Zhang Wei's countenance twisted in disdain. "What a burden." He turned to Shu Shu and Xiao Yu. "Let us depart this forsaken place."

Zhilong's expression turned solemn, his voice firm. "I can return you both to the Realm of Void, but Shu Shu shall remain here, in my custody."

Xiao Yu's countenance betrayed a hint of trepidation as he interjected, "You may return Zhang Wei to the Realm of Void, but I am content to remain here." Zhang Wei's gaze pierced Xiao Yu, his eyes flashing with a mixture of surprise and annoyance.

Zhang Wei's attention then shifted to Zhilong, his voice laced with a sense of urgency. "What significance does Shu Shu hold for you? What is it that you desire from him?" Zhilong's enigmatic smile reappeared, his tone dripping with nonchalance. "I believe this inquiry would be better posed by Shu Shu himself, but since you asked, I must insist that it remains none of your concern."

Shu Shu's voice, calm and collected, intervened, "I would appreciate it if you could provide a direct answer, Zhilong. What is it that you want from me?" Zhilong's smile grew, his eyes glinting with cunning. "Are you not curious, Shu Shu, about the deal your brother , Shu Yan, forged with the formidable demon, Zhenyu?"

A look of perplexity crossed Shu Shu's face. "A deal? With Zhenyu? I am unfamiliar with this." Zhang Wei's expression turned grave, his tone measured. "Zhenyu is the most powerful demon across all realms. When a royalty enters into an agreement with him, they are granted formidable power, but at a terrible cost – a price that can bring devastation to an entire realm."

Zhilong nodded in approval, his eyes gleaming with interest. Shu Shu's brow furrowed in contemplation. "But why would my brother, born under the Heavenly Symbol and born with the Lotus Bracelet on his wrist, seek to form a deal with Zhenyu? He was destined for greatness, the most illustrious emperor in our dynasty's history."

Zhilong's gaze narrowed, his smile growing more sinister as he settled into his throne. "Curiosity gets the better of you, doesn't it, Shu Shu?".

Zhang Wei's voice, laced with anticipation, urged Zhilong to reveal more. "Speak, what secrets do you hold?"

Zhilong's tone remained nonchalant, his words dripping with malevolence. "I shall not make it easy for you. All I shall reveal is that the Qing dynasty teeters on the brink of destruction, and Shu Shu's ascension to the throne is imperative."

Shu Shu's expression remained apathetic. "Why must I sit upon the throne? I am but a curse, unfit to rule."

Zhilong's chuckle sent shivers down their spines, his smile twisted and evil. "You are not a curse, Shu Shu. You belong to me."

Xiao Yu's voice, laced with confusion, asked, "How can one man belong to another?" Zhilong's gaze settled upon Xiao Yu, his smile growing, his eyes glinting with an otherworldly intensity.

Zhilong's smile seemed to hold a hint of possessiveness as he gazed at Xiao Yu. "You need not concern yourself with the reasons behind Shu Shu's allegiance to me, but rest assured, he cannot belong to another."

Xiao Yu's eyes widened, and he swallowed hard, his voice barely above a whisper. "What a peculiar individual."

Shu Shu's countenance remained serene, his voice calm and collected. "I do not belong to anyone." Zhilong's smile grew, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity as he licked his lips, his gaze fixed upon Shu Shu.

Zhang Wei's patience wore thin, his voice cold and laced with a hint of anger. "Enough of this frivolity! Speak, what do you know of Shu Yan's deal with Zhenyu?" Zhilong's gaze shifted, his eyes narrowing as he turned to Zhang Wei.

"Tell me, Zhang Wei, what stake do you have in this matter? Are you, perchance, affiliated with the Qing dynasty?"

Zhang Wei's expression turned guarded, his voice barely above a whisper. "My origins are of no concern to you." Zhilong's smile mocked him, his eyes glinting with amusement.

The air was suddenly filled with an eerie glow as a green portal materialized, and Ivy emerged, her eyes sparkling with malice. Xia, Feng, and Grandma Lu, bound together by her magical restraints, floats behind her. "Zhilong, behold! I've brought dinner!" Ivy exclaimed, her voice dripping with wickedness.

Zhang Wei and Xiao Yu's eyes widened in shock, their faces set in determined lines as they poised themselves for battle. Shu Shu's countenance darkened, his eyes blazing with anger.
