Eleanor's eyes widened slightly. Almost subconsciously, she whispered, "Wait..."
Just then, Antonio Lorenzo, who was next to her, interrupted Robert with a sudden declaration, "You can't kill me."
The tall man exuded a cold aura from head to toe. He looked straight at Robert with a faint smile under his mask. "Besides, I’ve had a change of heart. I don’t want your life anymore."
His voice was low and clear. "You’re strong, but don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone."
Antonio Lorenzo glanced at Eleanor beside him, and a strange emotion flashed in his deep eyes. "This little thing is here to save you... Don’t kill a good person by mistake, Mr. Williams."
As his words fell, Antonio Lorenzo's figure became a blur. He slipped through the gaps of the iron cage and rushed to the window. In a flash, he disappeared completely. The iron cage had never truly confined him. Antonio Lorenzo had merely waited for Robert to confront him.
Sure enough, Antonio Lorenzo was as enigmatic as ever.
