"Howard Hill is my brother," Eleanor blurted out, her calm demeanor unshaken as she blinked and faced William.
William's gaze faltered. "You, Howard's sister? Aren't you the heiress of the Hampton family?"
Eleanor nodded, maintaining her composure. "Yes, I am from the Hampton family, but Howard is indeed my brother. He prefers to keep a low profile."
A faint smile played at the corners of her lips as she added nonchalantly, "That's why we look so much alike, and my archery skills... well, they were taught by him."
William pressed his lips together, choosing silence. This explanation made sense, but doubts lingered.
"Where is your brother now?" William asked, his gaze intense and his voice carrying an urgency.
Eleanor smirked slightly. "I don't know. He's always been mysterious in his comings and goings."
With that, she glanced toward the crowd and said lightly, "I should get going now."
