Unexpectedly, the young man stepped up, saying, "You can get lost now."
The youth in front of her was a bit taller than Eleanor. He looked down at her arrogantly, his eyes brimming with defiance, his demeanor full of contempt, and his voice filled with disdain and scorn. To him, Eleanor was just a lowly person he could dismiss at will.
"What did you say?" Eleanor responded, momentarily stunned.
She slowly lifted her gaze, questioning his statement word by word. It had been a while since she encountered such an ill-mannered person.
The boy snorted coldly, emanating a reckless aura from head to toe. His eyes squinted slightly as he spoke in a contemptuous tone, "Can't you understand human language?" He arrogantly lifted his chin, turned his head away, and refused to look at her anymore. "I told you to scram. This single room is mine from now on."
