Chapter 170 Beneath the Facade

Eleanor walked up to the stone table, casually glancing at its gems. There were almost all small gems, with large ones being rare. The largest gem was placed right in the center of the table, gleaming brilliantly. It was the biggest and the only one. In other words, such a large gem was the only one here. The rest of the gems were all smaller.

Wasn't this deliberately creating a conflict?

Almost all students came in teams, with at least three people in a small team. In terms of numbers, Eleanor's team was the smallest. Everyone found the gem together, but there was only one large gem. So who should take the largest gem? And would other team members be content with just a small one? After all, the size of the gem determined the test score. Everyone wanted high scores, but the gems representing high scores were few. This, therefore, was a test of human nature.
