Eleanor went straight back to William's Court by car. She walked into her room, pulled back the curtain, and quietly stood in a daze, staring at the Flower Field in the manor. After observing for a while, her emotions slowly began to subside.
She didn't know why, but she felt an overwhelming urge to see Robert. She wished she could see him immediately. Without hesitation, Eleanor opened her bedroom door and stepped out. She went straight to Robert's study and softly knocked on the door.
There was no response.
She knocked again.
Still, no answer.
At that moment, the housekeeper passed by in a composed manner. Eleanor called out to him with a soft voice, "Where did the Fourth Master go?"
Hearing this, the housekeeper respectfully bowed to Eleanor and replied, "The Fourth Master had something to do today and went out. He hasn't returned yet."
Went out? Isn't he not fond of going out? Where could Robert have gone?
