Chapter 307 Fireworks of the Heart

Radiant colors filled the starry sky, pushing away the darkness with their brilliance. Eleanor stood still, gazing upward, mesmerized by the vibrant display above. In her eyes, there was only this cascade of vivid colors.

It had been so long since she'd witnessed such breathtaking fireworks.

“The last time, I also prepared fireworks at Hyde Park,” came Robert’s calm, clear voice, close and tender in her ear.

Hyde Park?

The mention of it stirred something deep within Eleanor. Yes, Robert had invited her to Hyde Park once… It was their first real date.

But Samuel had ruined it.

She never did figure out what Robert had truly intended that night. What plans he had. And now, he was telling her that he had prepared fireworks back then, too?

Her heart trembled slightly at the thought.

“Why the fireworks?” she asked, her fingers curling into her palms, uncertainty creeping into her voice. “To celebrate your birthday?”
