Targari clan have different cultures which has been one of the reasons the have been able to live in harsh conditions of the dunes north of the clan is a mighty ocean which serves as a major food source for the targari lots of abnormal creatures live in this ocean but the targari have been able to tamed some for some years which serves as means of transportation and some other creatures has been tamed for combat, like the Giant earthworm.
The desert stretched endlessly, an ocean of golden waves shifting under the moon's watchful eye. The freed Delian prisoners, now bound once more, trudged behind their Targari captors. They moved through the dunes with unnatural ease, their feet barely sinking into the treacherous sands.
Leo walked in silence. His body was weary, but his mind was sharp, absorbing everything around him.
Where were they leading them?
Then, as they crested a towering dune, the answer lay before them.
The Targari city.
A fortress of stone and sand, carved into the very bones of the desert itself.
---
A City Hidden in the Sands
Leo's first impression was that the Targari had tamed the desert itself.
Unlike Kinkland's towering castles or Delia's ruined towns, the Targari built down instead of up. Their homes and halls were carved into rocky cliffs and deep canyons, hidden from the sun and shielded from the wind.
Some structures sat aboveground—low, dome-shaped buildings made of hardened sand and bone—but the true city lay beneath the earth. Underground tunnels, hidden chambers, and vast caverns stretched deep into the land, protecting them from both enemies and the desert's wrath.
The entrance was marked by two colossal earthworm skulls, their massive fangs gleaming white against the sand.
The giant worms were not just monsters to the Targari.
They were gods, weapons, and guardians.

Survival in the Desert
Leo had wondered how the Targari survived in this wasteland, but as they entered the city, he saw the answer.
Water – The Targari used deep wells and underground rivers, tunnels carved by earthworms over generations. Large basins, hidden beneath shade, collected moisture from the air, forming oases in the heart of the dunes.
Food – They were hunters, gatherers, and traders. They bred desert beasts, farmed cacti for water and fruit, and traded with distant nomads for grains and dried meats.
Shelter – By building underground, they escaped the deadly sun and sandstorms. Their homes were cool and dark, lit by glowing crystals mined from the depths.
Defense – The city was unmapped, invisible to those who did not know its secret paths. The Targari warriors knew every grain of sand, striking from the dunes and vanishing like ghosts.
This was not a land for the weak.
The Targari did not just survive—they conquered the desert itself.
---
Then, Leo saw something that chilled him to the bone.
In the depths of the city, in a massive underground cavern, it moved.
A giant earthworm, its chitinous skin glistening under torchlight, coiled through a massive pit, its size beyond comprehension. Its massive mandibles clicked as Targari nobles stood near it, whispering in a strange tongue.
"They command it."
Leo's breath caught. The rumors were true—only those with first-generation blood could tame the worms.
These creatures, which devoured entire armies, bowed to the Targari royals.
One of the warriors, Seraya, smirked as she saw Leo's face.
"Scared, Delian?" she taunted.
Leo did not respond.
But deep inside, a truth settled in his heart.
"The Kinks did not conquer the Targari for a reason. They fear them."
And now, Leo would have to learn why.
Leo and the other freed prisoners where sent into the dunes it was a tradition the targari has practice for years.
The golden sands as hot as ever the young men could sense the breathing dunes from afar little did they know that that was their doom coming.
The targari sent scouts nayomi was part of them she wants to see how the desert would devour its prey, but deeply in her hearts she wanted to see how the mute would survive she has felt this attraction to him that she can't even understand
The face of death
As Leo was going deep into the desert many thoughts was going through his mind. What are this people trying to do are they trying to test us or use us as games for the different creatures lurking under the dunes.
His mind flashedback to the games the kinks use people who are accused for rebellion making them face Gnarths. As the creature devour them and drink their blood
He could hear their screams and feel their pains this sent chills to his spine would he witness same thing here today. He could not help but imagine.
Cassian seems more terrified than the rest of the prisoners. 'Oh would thy face be a munching piece for this ungodly creatures never knew I would ended up like this . I only imagined my death in a whore house with blossom ladies massaging me as I move beyond the earthly realm, He screamed.
Shut up cunt you are drawing attention to us we may not survive this test due to your Lousy mouth, jorrik one of the prisoners quickly told Cassian in other to keep him quiet but it was too late as a nearby earthworm has heard and sense their presence.
Grrrrp! a mighty sound was heard it was a big Giant earthworm sprung from underneath the sands taking one of the men. It swallowed one of the prisoners
In the process.
Fear griped the rest of the prisoners a group once walking in unison, scattered, each looking for a safe haven
God! It seems the desert is angry I have never seen an earthworm this big segrit exclaimed.
The targari scout that were watching the prisoners from afar were all surprised it's been long since such giant earthworm appeared.
Nayomi do you think you can tamed this one
Segrit asked, do you doubt Nayomi remember she has the blue blood kega also one of the scout said.
Deep down Nayomi has doubt if she would be able to tame that creature never seen one this big.
