At the airport,

8 Am,

A tall and slender woman walks outpulling a suitcase behind her.

She has long black silky hair and was putting on sunglasses.

She was wearing crazy jeans and a net top in which she wore tube inside.

The lady was currently on call.

"Sister Chen, Are you here? I am outside the airport though. I can't see you.", said the Woman.

"Shen Mei, Look to your left.", the voice from the phone sounded.

Shen Yue looked to her left and her face immediately lit up.

She cut off the call and strutted towards the person she saw.

Chen Rui was waving in front of a Bentley and beaming.

Shen Yue came back looking like a model.

Shen Yue stopped 2 feets away from Chen Rui and gave her a mock salute,"Chen jie, you are as beautiful as ever. Just like me!"

Chen Rui chuckled heartily. Shen Yue has not stopped blowing her own horn. It made her more adorable.

Chen Rui went forward and hugged her.

She then took her suitcase from her and went to put it in the Boot.

She returned to where Shen Yue was, took her hands and asked,"Have you had breakfast?"

"Not yet. Why don't we go somewhere and eat?", Shen Yue suggested.

Chen Rui didn't answer immediately but used her hands to urge Shen Yue into the Passenger seat.

Shen Yue complied and Chen Rui got into the driver's seat.

"You know you have to go to the company by 9 right?", Chen Rui finally said facing Shen Yue.

Shen Yue scoffed,"How can one work with an empty stomach. Let's just go."

After speaking,they both put on their seatbelts and Chen Rui drove off.

On their way they were having a hearty conversation.

"Chen Jie, have you set up what I asked you to?", Shen Yue asked

"Yes...you are always ordering me, this silly girl. And I have to thank you for not letting me sign Bai Xue.", Said Chen Rui

"Do you also despise her like I do?! Oh My...Chen Jie, we are getting more and more alike!", Shen Yue squealed making Chen Rui laugh.

"That's not it, you brat. I found out she was full of herself. She always gives my colleague, who is managing her,a hard time."

"Oh that's too bad. Don't worry You have me. I am very obedient and I am not troublesome.", Shen Yue boasted.

"Not troublesome?! Huh...you have got to be kidding me! You are as troublesome as the word troublesome itself.", Chen Rui countered.

She had been called multipled times when Shen Yue was in high school for different matters. And here she was, saying she wasn't troublesome.

She just wondered the kind of problems she was going to cause in the future.

Chen Rui could already feel a headache coming.

"Chen Jie, you shouldn't say that about a cutie pie like myself.", Shen Yue said smiling.

"Hah... this brat. Anyway, you really have to treat me well. I went through alot trying to convince my superiors to sign you.", Chen Rui said.

"That's why I Love you Chen Jie. We are going to the company to sign the contract right?", Shen Yue asked beaming.

"Sigh ...yes we are. Make sure to read each clause well. After signing the contract, we'll go for breakfast, okay?", Chen Rui promised.

"Alright. I'll do as you say.", Shen Yue agreed and Looked at the scenery outside the window of the car.

I am back to Imperial. I am going to live my life to the fullest and do everything I love!

Her motivational thoughts were shattered when Chen Rui spoke.

"Have you contacted your family?"

Shen Yue's mood immediately soured.

"What family? Ugh.. don't remind me of those scoundrels. We are better off without each other. You know I blocked their numbers the moment I finished packing. I left so early,by 5am, so only Uncle Lu knew how I left.", Shen Yue said as she reminisced.

Immediately she finished packing, she went to look for Uncle Lu and asked for the Keys to the Bentley Chen Rui was driving.

When she got to her room, she blocked Shen Nao, Shen Nang and Went Rouxi's contacts in advance but left Uncle Lu's contact.

She told Uncle Lu of her plans and he readily assisted her making sure she left early before any of the people in the house woke up.

Shen Yue made a mental note to call him when she settled down.

Chen Rui, seeing Shen Yue's soured mood, decided not to talk about the topic again.

Shen Yue had a sour spot for the word 'family'.

So the drive from then onwards was silent but it was comfortable with a classical song playing in the car.

Soon they arrived at SY Entertainment. Chen Rui drove the car into the underground parking lot and parked it at a spot.

"We are here, Shen Mei. Prepare yourself mentally. We are meeting with our big boss personally.", Chen Rui told Shen Yue as they arrived.

Shen Yue just nodded and got of the car. Chen Rui turned off the car's engine and got off. She closed the door with a bang.

She then strutted towards the elevator with Shen Yue in tow.
