It lay at the heart of Olympus, a swirling abyss of unformed divinity, forgotten by all but the oldest gods. The last time it had created something new, the world had been young, and gods had walked among mortals.

But tonight, the Chaos Pool rippled.

A golden light flickered deep within, and for the first time in ages, a new goddess was born.

She was small—barely a child—with silver-white hair and eyes like shattered stardust. As she took her first breath, the air hummed, and the entire divine realm seemed to pause.

Hecate, the goddess of magic, stepped forward, peering down at the newborn. Her expression was unreadable.

"A child," one of the gods murmured. "But from what domain?"

No one knew. The Chaos Pool had given no name, no purpose. All they knew was one thing: this girl was unlike any god before her.

And Olympus had no idea what she would become.

I never win anything.

Scratch that—I’m the type of person who could walk into a casino, bet on red, and somehow make the roulette wheel break. My luck is that bad.

So when I got an email saying, "Congratulations! You have won an exclusive VR Pod!", my first instinct was to delete it.

I didn’t enter any contest. I don’t even play VR games.

But when the delivery truck actually showed up at my apartment, carrying a sleek, futuristic-looking pod with my name on it… well, curiosity won.

That was my first mistake.

The moment I stepped inside, the world around me flickered. My vision blurred. My body felt weightless, like I was being pulled somewhere far, far away.

And when I opened my eyes again, I wasn’t in my apartment anymore.

I was lying on a stone floor, surrounded by towering figures in golden robes. A woman with glowing violet eyes—Hecate?—was staring down at me.

"She’s awake," someone whispered. "The newborn goddess has arrived."

My breath hitched. Newborn what?

Mira sat cross-legged on the smooth marble floor of her room in Olympus, her eyes locked onto the golden interface hovering in front of her.

Her Divinity Points (DP) balance flickered in the top corner—a measly 35 points.

She tapped on the question mark icon beside it, and an explanation window popped up.

Divinity Points (DP) are the currency of the gods, earned by completing divine feats, side quests, and main tasks.

Artifacts (Weapons, armor, and divine tools)

Abilities (From basic skills to god-tier powers)

Blessings & Curses (Bestow or remove divine influence)

Divinities (If you have enough DP, you can even steal a god's domain…)

Warning: The rarer the item, the higher the price. Gods do not come cheap.

"So, if I get rich enough, I can literally buy someone's divinity?!"

That explained why her current DP balance was laughably low—anything remotely overpowered would cost hundreds of thousands of points.

She scrolled through the Divine Marketplace, eyes widening at the absurd prices.

Hera's Queen of the Gods Title – 2,000,000 DP

"Okay, yeah. Definitely not affording any of this anytime soon."

She kept scrolling until she reached the affordable section.

At the very bottom of the list, one item caught her eye.

[Helmet of Invisibility – 30 DP]

The legendary helmet once gifted by Athena to Perseus, allowing the wearer to become completely invisible.

"This will be perfect for stealing Artemis' bow!"

She quickly purchased it, and in a flash of golden light, the helmet materialized in her hands.

It looked simple—made of dark metal, light as a feather—but the power it radiated was unmistakable.
