Episode 33: Ethan's Last Warning
That night, Jaden sat in his dorm, staring at the black card on his desk.
Something was off about this place. Something bigger than just football.
A knock at the door snapped him out of it.
Jaden opened it—and came face-to-face with Ethan.
Jaden's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"
Ethan didn't smirk. For the first time, he looked serious.
"I don't care if we hate each other," Ethan muttered. "But you need to listen."
Jaden crossed his arms. "To what?"
Ethan exhaled. "There are people here—people bigger than Iron Stride—who don't play fair. They choose who wins before the games even start."
Jaden frowned. "And you know this how?"
Ethan hesitated. Then—"Because they approached me too."
Jaden stiffened.
Ethan lowered his voice. "I turned them down." He met Jaden's gaze. "You should too."
Jaden exhaled slowly.
This wasn't just a football academy anymore. It was something else.
And he had just stepped into a game far bigger than he imagined.
