The past catches up

Today was the most important day in her life, and also the day she regretted the most. It was this day that Travon had taken her virginity!

Ruby swore that she would change this.

Her father, Mr. Patman, nodded and said, "Be safe." It wasn't something special, but Ruby almost burst into tears.

When she walked to the door, her phone rang. At the sight of the caller ID, she tried hard to hold back her emotions before picking up the phone.

After taking a few deep breaths, Ruby took the call.

"Hi, Travon."

"Ruby, why is your voice so muffled? Are you feeling not well?" Travon's worried voice came through. Ruby faked a smile and forced a cheerful voice, "No, I'm fine."

"Then hurry up! I'm waiting for you. I'll give you a surprise today." Travon was confident. He added, "I promise you'l like this surprise, my dear princess.

In the past, Ruby would blush with a racing heartbeat and look forward to the surprise.

But Ruby was no longer the naive girl she used to be. She was a demon who had crawled out of hell. What was the surprise he was going to give her?

He would take her virginity and lied to her that he loved her. After he confessed his love to her, their romantic relationship was widely covered by the media.

Travon said that the reporters sneaked inside. She was blinded by love before, but now she realized that Travon staged the whole thing to make him the headline of Blake City. He wanted everyone to think that he was a great boyfriend. Then, he could use his reputation and her family to climb up.

'Travon, you want to use me? No way!'

She wouldn't help him; instead, she would tear up his disguise. She would show all the people in the city that he was a monster and thus ruin his reputation.

However, Ruby was aware that it was not easy to take down Travon. She needed a good plan.

Travon appeared to be harmless, but he had a powerful backer and terrifying ambitions.

Before her rebirth, Ruby and Travon had been married for five years, but she still couldn't figure out what kind of force was backing Travon.

"Sweetheart, why are you so quiet?"

Ruby came to her senses and said, "I'm thinking about what kind of surprise it will be."

Travon smiled dotingly and said, "You'll know when you come here.

Well, hurry up. I have to go. Love you. Bye."

Ruby couldn't bring herself to say that she loved him too. She replied indifferently, "Bye-bye."

On the other end of the line, Travon, dressed in a blue suit, was puzzled. 'Why do I feel that Ruby is a little strange? She is not as enthusiastic as usual.' Ruby walked forward while thinking about Travon.

There were two commercial cars parked at the gate of their villa, and the two cars were of the same model.

"Go to the dock." The young driver turned around and looked at Ruby in surprise. He wondered who this beautiful girl

He put his hand on his belt, ready to draw the gun in case that Ruby was a brutal killer. The driver looked at Ruby and felt a little familiar. For a moment, he couldn't remember who she was.

"Albert, why don't you drive? Hey! Who are you?" asked Ruby as she looked up and saw that the person in the driver's seat was not her driver.

The young driver didn't say anything, but a voice came from Ruby's side, "Get out."

"Aaaah!" She was startled by the man's voice. Ruby looked sideways. When she saw the person next to her, she was stunned.

The man had blond short hair and unique blue eyes. He had the features of both an Asian and a European.

His facial features were perfect, as if his face was an art created by God.

His hair was combed backward with nothing covering his forehead. He looked determined, enchanting, and domineering. His black outfit made him look cool, and his cold eyes made Ruby tremble.

The man moved his red thin lips, "I said, get out."

"Sorry, I got in the wrong car." Ruby realized she made a mistake.

Besides, the man's aura made her a little nervous. She opened the door and was about to get out of the car.

"Wait a minute, are you Ruby Patman?" The driver stopped her before she got off. Ruby Patman?

When the man in the back seat heard this name, his cold eyes suddenly lit up. He stared at Ruby like a beast staring at its prey,

looking ferocious.

With her back to the man, Ruby didn't know that she was in danger now. She answered the driver, "Yes, it's me."

The driver smiled and said, "Take care!"

Ruby got off and went to her own car.

Watching her car getting farther and farther away, the driver couldn't hide his excitement and said, "Young Master. We found her. It's easier than we'd expected. What do you think we should do next?"

The man reached out and stroked the crown on his left hand. There was an unfathomable emotion in his eyes.

"Keep an eye on her!! want her!"

Andy Nowell said, "Understood!" They had searched the whole country for Ruby. Now that they finally found her, they must not lose her. For the sake of his young master, nothing could happen to Ruby.

Ruby was getting close to her destination, but she still didn't think of any way to handle Travon. She forced herself to calm down.

She couldn't allow the hatred to agitate her. Being emotional wouldn't help her, instead, it would ruin her plan.

She had to take it slow. The luxury Oss Cruise Ship was anchored at the Bay Dock.

All the guests who received Travon's invitation and came here were young people from the upper class. Of course, they didn't come here for Travon, but Ruby.

The Patman family was a rich and powerful family. It was beneficial for them to be associated with Ruby.

And the young bachelors would want more than being her friend. Even though they knew that Travon and Ruby were dating, they still wanted to give it a try.

"Miss Patman, we've arrived," Albert said to Ruby and opened the car door for her.

Ruby got off and instantly became the center of attention.

"Look, Ruby is here."

"She's so beautiful, just like an angel."
