Returning Home

The night was quiet. The battle was over, the city was safe, and yet—Ravan felt uneasy.

His body still ached from the awakening of his past memories, and Akil's Hellfire had nearly burned them all. But what troubled him most wasn't his own condition.

It was home.

For a moment, Ravan almost forgot about the gods, demons, and ancient wars waiting for him.

Then he saw her—

His little sister, standing in front of their small house, eyes filled with worry.

"Anna" she called, rushing toward him.

Ravan barely had time to react before she hugged him tightly.

"Where were you?! Maa was so worried!"

Her voice was filled with innocence, unaware that her brother had just faced a beast capable of destroying cities.

Ravan forced a smile. "Sorry. Just… training."

Akil, standing behind him, scratched his head. "Man, I could use some food right now."

Ravan's mother appeared at the doorway, her expression shifting between relief and frustration. She didn't say anything, just pulled him inside and made him sit.

His grandmother muttered, "You're always disappearing these days."

His father didn't speak much, just gave a nod before continuing to eat. He was a man of few words, but Ravan knew—he noticed everything.

Scene 2: The Shadows That Watch

As they ate, Ravan felt something.

A presence.

It wasn't Lucifer.

It wasn't a demon.

It was something else. Watching. Waiting.

He looked outside the window, but there was nothing. Just darkness.

A single thought crossed his mind—

They know I've awakened.

Scene 3: Lucifer's Summoning

Later that night, as Ravan lay in bed, trying to rest his exhausted body, a voice whispered—

"Come."

It was deep. Ancient.

Lucifer.

Ravan's eyes shot open, and in an instant, the room around him shattered like glass.

He was no longer in his house.

He stood in an endless, dark wasteland, where the sky bled red, and the air reeked of death.

Lucifer stood before him, his black coat billowing in the unnatural wind. His eyes gleamed with amusement.

"You're too slow, Ravan," he said. "Your past life was feared by gods, yet now? You're weak."

Ravan clenched his fists. "Then make me stronger."

Lucifer smirked. "Oh, I will. But first—"

He raised a hand.

The ground split open, revealing a massive battlefield littered with the corpses of fallen demons.

"In order to fight gods," Lucifer said, "you must first know the true history. The story of Satan and the 10 Commanders."

The real training was about to begin.
