Chapter 10- Birth of Susu

After five days the egg started cracking slowly and just with the first ray of dawn, the egg broke down and out came a very small and cute looking little white snake, however its body was glimmering with different patterns of electric blue and purple and on its crown was a huge totem made of purple light, which was shining brightly.

It looked around with its wide purple eyes and feeling hungry started munching down on the egg shell.

After it was done eating the first thing it saw was a human kid, sitting in a lotus position and meditating.

It slowly slithered towards her and crept upon her body, his sensitive nose can smell the comforting fresh medicinal fragrance from the body of the girl and it immediately felt very relaxed and comfortable, it nuzzled around towards her palm and licked it, sensing the same aura which comforted him and protected him when he was fragile he felt at peace.

It bit the Finger finger of Long Xiang and drew out blood.

Long Xiang woke up from her meditation with a start, looking at her bleeding finger and a small slithering insect like creature on her lap she was flabbergasted.

She pushed the little creature with her hand and in the process her bleeding finger touched the totem mark on its head, soon a very complicated looking pattern came alive and surrounded her and the snake and a purple light from the snake shot out and entered her glabella.

It turned out she has successfully made a contract with a spirit beast.

Seeing an additional consciousness in her mind she was shocked and then picked up the snake.

"You what did you do."

"Master, now i am your contractual spirit beast." spoke the snake, he was aware now he was bound by Long Xiang.

Although he was just born due to his superior bloodline, some of the knowledge passed down by its ancestor was still in the mind of the just born snake.

However the contract was not yet complete hence the snake gently bit itself and then with the help of its tail flicked his blood in the direction of Long Xiang's glabella and before she could stop him the blood was instantly absorbed inside her glabella.

Now the consciousness which was still blurry in her head was cleanly visible.

"Why did you do this?" she knew what a contract but she had no intention of making a contract with this snake she hatched.

"To repay, you have saved my life hence my life belongs to you." this was the pride they have and they will fulfill their promise to no end.

"What are you called, what species of snake are you?" asked Long Xiang with confusion.

The little snakes shook its little body in denial and spoke in her mind,"I don't have a name yet as of my ancestral bloodline i can't see it clearly as of yet." all he knew was how to avoid making a contract with anyone and how to cultivate to grow strong and that it liked this human in front of it, that;s it.

"Okay now that you are with me lets name you Susu and you can call me Xiang Xiang." said Long Xiang as she cannot come up with a name.

Susu was really happy to be given a name and instantly came and bound itself around Long Xiang's wrist, now it appeared like a clear white and purple bracelet looking very pretty and demure.

Long Xiang exclaimed."Wow you are super cute."

Susu was again very happy with the praise.

After praising susu, she looked around and found the stone alter on which Susu was born hence she asked,"Do you want you stone alter?"

"No xiang xiang, but it is very useful you should keep it." he knew this stone alter was a treasure as somehow he felt that he had strong liking towards treasure.

Hence Long Xiang kept it inside her inner space and brought susu inside her space as well.

Susu was shocked to find an ethereal looking women somewhat similar to Long Xiang sleeping inside the space.

seeing his doubt Long Xiang explained,"My mother, she is in comatose state, was poisoned." off course Long Xiang could only say this mentally to the little snake as her voice cord was still like that of a three year old child and speech was particularly difficult.

She checked her mother's condition and found that her heartbeat was stable.

"Do you know where i can find a Thousand year old snake's Dan?" after all this guy was also a snake.

Susu shook his head in denial but then a peace of information came in his brain,"It is said that the older the snake, the deeper inside the earth element they are."

"Inside the earth...hmm" mused Long Xiang.

Finally she checked her cultivation and found that she has successfully advanced to Qi condensation stage level 5.

As per the basic of cultivation manual the stages of cultivation are divided into seven parts

Developing spiritual root which might take seven to fifteen years

Qi condensation stage

Foundation establishment dtage

Golden Core stage

Nascent soul

Great Spiritual Master

Spiritual Sovereign

Great Accession Master

Each were divided into nine levels and after the Golden core they were divided into three major parts like initial stage Nascent soul;Mid stage Nascent soul and Later stage nascent soul so on and so forth.

However the more talent and genius an offspring is the more likely they will to advance to the later stage most people in this world cannot even form a nascent soul.

The people who was genius can go higher, like her mother was already a great spiritual master when she gave birth to her.

Thinking of her mother Long Xiang felt sad, if she would have been that powerful now maybe she wouldn't have been poisoned.

But the only confusion Long Xiang had right now was related to her spiritual root, as per the manual spiritual roots were divided into four parts.

Heavenly spiritual root which only had one element but its power was heavenly and more powerful element then superior or lower spiritual roots also the cultivator could advance faster.

Superior spiritual root which is slightly lower but comparable to the heavenly spiritual root and often this spiritual root was what genius in the cultivation world possessed

mutated spiritual root is dual elemental root which was not inferior but one has to master both the elements present and balance them to advance further just like her mother.

multi spiritual root is a spiritual root with three or more than three elements it was very difficult to advance and balance the elements often lead to difficult path in cultivation.

However she had a golden spiritual root and when she tried to conjure a element with it to her surprise when she though it was fire, she was able to conjure fire when she thought it was lightning she was able to conjure lightning when she thought it was wood she was able to make a plant grow in her palm, this truly confused her, it said if you have more than three elemental root your spiritual root will look multicolored but hers did not.

Anyway she denoted that her spiritual root might be a three elemental spiritual root.

Now however she had more pressing work to do and that was to collect all the necessary ingredients to make an antidote for her mother and hence after coming out of her space she thought to first search the Misty forest and then look beyond for a solution.
