Chapter 12- New Friend

Long Xiang heard the gasp from the bad uncle,and spoke as if very pleased with herself, " Yes Xiang Xiang powerful, strong like mother."

Long Shi was flabbergasted, isn't this kid too complacent, not modest at all.

Then they were shocked to see her appearance, she had beautiful elvish face, phoenix eyes but what shocked them was the beautiful purple orbs shining in those eyes.

Long Wu looked at the girl and then at his master,' well they look so much alike, something isn't adding up.

Even Long Tian was shocked, these eyes, they were too familiar, then it hit him it was just like his purple however the kid were clearly much more brighter like shiny jewels. In fact after looking at those eyes he thought of Bai Lan, the shape was very similar just the color was purple instead of deep blue

"Girl where are your parents." he asked her, now that this kid was his savior it was his duty to protect her until he handles her over to her parents.

Just as Long Tian asked about the parents, the kid visibly became sad and hung her head low,"Mother...wuhuhuhu she is in deep sleep."

Long Tian thought probably her mother has passed on and the kid thought she was sleeping.

Thinking about his Bai Lan and the child he lost, he though if they were alive his child will also be as big as this kid in front of him, so his cold heart softened a little towards the poor girl.

"So tell us the address and name of your father, we will send you back to him." spoke Long Wu.

Long Xiang thought of her father, her mother told her that she had a good father but he was lost so she said,"Don't know father, father lost."

"You and your mother got separated from him." asked Long Shi.

Long Xiang thought for a second and then nodded her head,'Yes as per mother father was a good man and due to bad people ambushing them, they got separated.'

Long Tian stood up and said,"Okay so from now on this lord will protect you until this lord finds your father."

Long Xiang's eyes brightened, it was good to make an ally in this world anyway now she only knows this man so even if he asked her to call him daddy she will comply willingly.

"Daddy." she spoke looking at Long Tian and quickly took his large palm with her small fingers.

"What...kid call him uncle." chided Long Shi.

"No daddy daddy." repeated Long Xiang again and firmly grasped Long Tian's hand.

Long Tian felt the soft touch of the kids hand and the little warmth it held warmed his own cold heart a little bit.

He did not dislike the touch at all.

Long Xiang looked at the man with the corner's of his eyes and seeing that he was not displeased, became more bold.

"Daddy pick up...pick up." she said while extending her little arms up for Long Tian.

"Kid you have gall of a tiger." spoke Long Shi.

But seeing that the child really was small and won't be able to walk much he offered a hand,"Master let me pick this little kid." with that he extended his paws towards little Xiang anticipating to hold the cute child in his arms but the next second.

"slappp." his hands were slapped away by Long Tian.

"No need i will pick her up." that said he picked the little girl into his arms and suddenly his senses were eroded by her milky fragrance he could also smell as bit of plum blossom in her and it instantly calmed his heart down.

After three years he surprisingly felt hope and lighthearted for the first time.

After he picked up the child he asked her,"So where do you want to go?"

Long Xiang who was enjoying being lifted by Long Tian suddenly asked him to bent a little as he was too tall and even while she was in his arms he was a head taller than her.

Seeing the child gesturing him to bent down, he bent a little.

"I want to travel the world with daddy." with that said Long Xiang gave a little wet kiss on Long Tian's cheeks and then turned her head over from where he could not see and laughed while putting her hand over her mouth.

Long Wu and Long Shi's jaws dropped after seeing this scene,' This little kid was really going for a yard after getting an inched, they gasped and put their hands over their mouths afraid if the lord heard them.

Long Tian was first shocked by the kiss, but then it instantly melted into a sweet feeling in his heart and looking at the mischievous laughing child, for the first time in three tears Long Tian laughed.

"hahahahahaha." Long Xiang felt the vibration of Long Tian's chest as he laughed and felt happy.

Long Shi and Long Wu's jaws was almost touching the ground at this moment,'master laughed, master laughed after that tragedy three years ago, this was already a miracle in fact they have lost all hopes for their master but mow looking at the little girl who could make their master happy they were suddenly filled with reinvigorated energy.

Long Wu and Long Shi's eyes towards the child suddenly changed from annoyance to genuine respect and affection.

None of the four people present here knew that Long Tian's decision of this time and day was the best decision he ever made in his life till now, he will only realize in the future that the little girl he picked along he way and who adopted him as his father was actually his whole world, his only daughter, HIS OWN FLESH AND BLOOD!.

Shen Miao who was on her way back to upper realm suddenly had a foreboding feeling as if a very unexpected thing has occurred without her knowing which was out of her control.

"Lei Shi checks what's going on with Brother Tian." she ordered her subordinate.

Long Tian the cause of Shen Miao's worry was currently sitting inside a courtyard in Ming Kingdom's capital city and was looking at Xiang Xiang with scrutiny.

"You want something." he asked.

Xiang Xiang nodded her head and presented the pictures she drew to Long Tian.

Long Tian looked at her quizzically but took the rice paper from her hand, Long Shi and Long Wu were also perplexed as to what this child needed now and suddenly tilted sideways to have a look.

After seeing the picture, Long Wu couldn't help but laugh, however he cannot openly laugh at the daughter recognized by his Lord as now she was half their master so he snickered.

Seeing the comical faces of Long Wu and Long Shi, Xiang Xiang rolled her eyes on them and angrily looked away from them,"Hmph."

'She tried her best okay, she was a master painter in her time, but now that she is a child she can only manage that okay, she bet they won't be able to draw half as good as what she drew at her age.'

That said she looked at them again as if looking down on the, this look did it for them and the laughter they were controlling came tumbling down their mouth, so much so that their whole body shook with laughter.

Even Long Tian pursued his lips from stopping himself from laughing after looking at the drawing and the messy calligraphy on the rice paper but looking at the angry little face of the kid he controlled his laughter.

"Silence." he ordered and the room became quite again.

He looked at his little trouble maker and asked,"You want these?"

Long Xiang Nodded.

Long Tian looked at the pictures again and repeated the messy words written on them."Dan of a Thousand year old snake, Fire Blood Orchid, Thousand year old ice apple, Red spiritual Fire Lotus?"

Xiang Xiang nodded again, she also wanted to write tears of a dragon, but thought maybe that will be too much and she will find that on her own not to make her daddy worry much.
