Into The Unknown

Our character makes their way home.

(It was a day when some of my questions were answered. Today could possibly change my life.)

(Did Leonardo really tell the truth?)

(It's unclear what this man gets right or wrong.)

Suddenly, the character's phone rings.

(Damn it, Anna is calling. I forgot about her.)

Our character answers the phone.

Anna: Hello, ****, how are you? Are you coming?

****: Ummm, I'm a bit far from home right now.

Anna: Okay, then you'll be late.

****: No, unfortunately, I can't come.

Anna: What do you mean? Did you waste all that preparation?

****: What preparation?

Anna: Just some preparations, nothing major.

****: Okay, I'll check.

(What happened to her? She started treating me well. Interesting.)

The character arrives home.

(It was a long and eventful day; all I want is some sleep.)

Our character takes a nap.

[30 Minutes Later]

The phone rings.

(Ohhh, what is that sound? What's going on?)

Our character looks at the phone.

(Is it Anna? Ugh, enough already!)

Our character answers the phone.

Anna: Come on, Robot, I won't bother you again.

****: Shut up, Anna, I need to sleep.

Anna: Fine, I won't bother you anymore.

Anna hangs up.

Our character tries to sleep again.

[3 Hours and 51 Minutes Later]

Sarah: Wake up, son.

****: Why, Mom?

Sarah: There's a fire outside; something could happen to the house.

****: Okay, let's hurry. Why didn't you warn me earlier?

Sarah: I just found out myself.

****: Alright, calm down, Mom.

(Holy shit, what's going on in my life? My life is so chaotic.)

Our character and their mother go outside.

John: Finally, you're here! Where have you been? Get in the car, quickly!

****: What's happening, Dad?

John: I can't explain right now; just get in the car. We need to get away from here.

****: Uhhh, okay.

John: If you have something important at home, grab it. We still have some time.

(Ahhh, my PC. I can't leave it behind.)

****: Okay, I need to grab something.

The character rushes back into the house.

(I need to get the PC quickly; everything is on it. If it goes, everything is over.)

(I need to grab all my tech devices.)

Our character gathers all their devices and heads outside.

John: When did you manage to take your computer apart?

****: Just get in the car.

Our character and their family get into the car and drive away.

****: Dad, what's going on? Explain now.

John: I don't have clear information either, but a fire has started in the city and is coming towards our neighborhood. They've started evacuating here.

****: So, where are we going?

John: We'll stay at a hotel.

****: Do you know where?

John: Not too far. It will do for now.

****: What if the fire reaches there too?

John: I don't know, but a lot of teams are coming to put out the fire. I hope it doesn't spread to our house.

****: I hope so too.
