Echoes Of The Past

(I still have a lot on my mind, trying to understand why this fire broke out. Could this be a game played on me? Just when everything seemed to be falling into place, something like this happens. Was it really just something that would happen to me?)

(Anna, I hope you're doing well somewhere.)

Sarah: Hey, come on, calm down! You seem really focused on something. Everything will be alright.

****: No, mom, I was just thinking. Nothing bad is happening.

Sarah: Don't worry, Anna is fine.

****: Alright.

Sarah: How did you meet her? Tell me, I'm your mother.

****: There's nothing between us.

Sarah: What do you mean there's nothing? Girl, she came to your room, you were both in the same room. Only people in a relationship do that.

****: Mom, I don't have a relationship with every girl who comes to my room.

Sarah: You think so. Seriously, how do you know this girl?

****: She was my partner on the camping trip.

Sarah: Camping trip? When?

****: The school trip, the one you forced me to go on.

Sarah: Oh, that one! Now I remember. See, you went, and it was better for you. You met Anna.

****: Yeah, that trip changed my life.

Sarah: So Anna is quite an impressive girl, huh?

****: It's not just about Anna; I experienced a lot there and met many people. Anna is just one of them.

Sarah: I'm glad you went.

****: I don't know if I'm glad, but it was an unforgettable trip.

Sarah: Anyway, ****, go get some sleep. You've had a long day.

****: You're right, mom, I'm really tired still.

Our character goes to bed.

(It's 6 AM, but I still haven't slept properly.)

(I hope I can sleep.)

Our character falls asleep.

[7 Hours and 51 Minutes Later]

Sarah: Come on, son, wake up. We're leaving here.

Our character wakes up.

****: Where are we going?

Sarah: Home.

****: What about the fire?

Sarah: The teams have put it out; there's no problem. Everything is in place.

****: Oh, I'm relieved. Then we can go home.

Sarah: Exactly, let's go.

Our character steps outside and gets into the car.

****: Dad, have you found out what caused the fire?

John: No, I still don't have any clear information.

(Alright, I guess I'll have to figure this out myself.)
