First Encounter/be my bride

May face was drained out of colour she moved from the door slowly still in shock her eyes wielded staring at the closed door

Someone actually lives here

And she just....

"Ooh gawd"she gasped in disbelief holding her jaws from dropping she 'd wondered if this room was actually for a guest but now the same question made her recall when Inara the maid Incharge of her stay stopped her from touching the black wardrobe she completely forgot about that

Someone did live here

Someone she've no clue about

A sense of unease crept over her

Another gasp escape her lips as realization down on her

Could it be Dr.Enzo?

May was still contemplating on her discovery when the door suddenly moved open and she tuk few steps away leaving her stumbling on her feet slipping to the ground

"Ahhhh!..!!...!

Enzo expression shifted in an instant ,he tuk two quick steps and caught her as she fell , pulling her firmly into his chest,her forehead hitting his solid pectoral muscle eliciting a soft grunt from him

May heaved a sigh of relief her chest rising and falling colliding with his chest "o my gawd"she thought out loud her eyes meeting with his muscular chest and six abs, the view of his tattoos made her swallowed a lump down her throat

Flustered she lifted her head just as Enzo lowered his, their lips brushed fleetingly across his lips cheekbone

May froze having such intimidating closeness with him she found herself staring at the good-looking Greek god who just saved her from falling,water dripping from him black blonde hair sinfully, his emerald eyes,broad shoulders, slowly her gaze met with his making their gaze locked

The intensity in his eyes was searing, darkened with something primal , something that made her stomach flipped in a way she couldn't control his cold eyes never left hers

And she couldn't stop herself from staring for so long than expected

"Boss , dinner's ready down...

Vincent suddenly popped into the room his gaze once fix on the tablet he was holding darted toward the scene Infront of him

his jaw dropped, mouth open agape unable to close, his eyes went wide stunned full of shock infact the tablet on his hands fall off his hands

It was then May finally regain her compusture. She scrambled out of his hold embarrassed

Vincent didn't need an alarm to tell him this was not the right time to come in he quietly excused himself

May couldn't come up with an explanation especially with the fact that she popped into the bathroom unaware of his presence she clasped her lips in embarrassment her cheeks burn like the colour of roses while Enzo watch in amusement

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to enter the bathroom unnoticed I thought this was the guest room"

She came up with few words explaining and continued avoiding his eyes "you look like someone who live here,I must 've been taken into the wrong room,I'm very sorry"

"It's okay, actually you're in the right room"came his voice behind her his tone way deep and his Italian accent dripped out every word he spoke

May blinked twice coming back to her senses,in the right room?

Then why would he have a shower in a guest bathroom if he's...."you are Dr.Enzo ?"she asked

Enzo lips curled into a smirk -not one of arrogance but of something far from unsettling, admiration as though he already knew her in many ways she didn't understand the way his cold gaze lingered on her sent a shiver down her spine making her pulse quicken. He replied "yeah... you must be May Ashton welcome to my home...

May exhaled a sigh at last she met her saviour -her good-looking saviour but that's didn't change the fact that she Just 'd an intimidating closeness with him a type that rendered her speechless

Only his shirtless self already made her throat dry

Damn, what the hell was she thinking?

She slapped herself inwardly

"I'm really thankful for everything you 've done for me" May began with "honestly if it's weren't for you I wouldn't be alive and everything else included"she rambled all at once and finally came into a stop"what am trying to say 's thank you for saving my life when no one else could am really sorry but I've nothing to compensate you right now but be rest assured I would"she sounded convincing on her last statement

But unknowingly to her

Enzo 'd other plans

"I've something else in mind"Enzo said his gaze lingered on her lips and the way she bit hard on them trying not to meet his gaze. Unbeknownst to her, that charm would sway Enzo who'd been unaffected by women for a long time

May gaze suddenly met with his her brows knitting slightly, what could he possibly want that she can provide she's left with nothing else, completely broke

What if he says dinner?

She can't even afford his taste just by the looks of his home, the food cooked. Nothing was left with her , that thought poundered her deeply

"Be my bride"his words jotted her back to reality leaving her stunned, surprised, shocked, completely in utter disbelief. May lips quivered no words came out the intensity of his words left her paralyzed but then she blinked and caught his words in time "bride?"she pronounced the word unable to recover from the shock "am sorry, what?...

Or was her brain playing tricks on her

When he tuk few steps forward, May found herself stepping backwards in each steps and soon came in contact with the cold wall behind her

"Ahh.." A low scream escape her lips as Enzo body pressed against hers his face hovering dangerously close, May heart raced,her lips pressing together in a vain attempt to maintain her composture and she said in panick"this 's an inappropriate position for both of us anyone could come in and they assume the....oppo...

Enzo eyes glitterd with playful mischief shutting her up as he tucked a loose straid of hair behind her ears his fingers lingering against her skin "you wanted to compensate me, this 's my choice"his tone was smooth, teasing as if her protest amused him "no one can come in without my permission, Florella"his hot ,minty breath mingled with hers creating an intoxicating mix that made her feel lightheaded.

Every inch of her skin burned with awareness making her gulp down her throat she regret ever coming up with the idea of compensation now she felt stuck , to a hardcore situation

"Um "she bit her lower lips feeling his breath fan her face "there 's dinner downstairs if we don't arrive early the food can get cold"she blurted out an excuse with no other thoughts in her mind

His fingers grazed her chin lifting it slightly so their gaze locked "give it a thought,we can discuss more on that in my study room after dinner..

May nodded slightly even though her inside was screaming, she used that opportunity slipping out of his grip and quickly rush out of the room ,May hurried downstairs breathing as if she just encounter the horriest moment of her life

"Damn"she sighed momentarily

He doesn't sound like he was joking

He was for real

How could he want someone he barely knows as his bride?

"He must be insane"she murmured finding no better explanation for a sudden proposal

She knows nothing about him but his name and the fact that he perform her surgery, owns the hospital, other than that they was nothing else. Last she recalled herself facing a sudden proposal was the day her father barged into her life with the news of getting her married to Ryan, like the clash of the wind he came and let her out of his life into a young inexperience marriage for his own benefits , she fell as her first love but suddenly her world came clashing down her trust on him was burnt down with nothing left than ash. The whole five God damn years of building up a family was all a lie,pretend, for what exactly?

She badly want her question answered by him

Why would he live with her for five years of pretending when he was inlove with someone else?

Then she failed to recognized the signs she was lost in love but now she she wants nothing than save her son and make Ryan pay for every damn moment of pretending

Falling into any relationship was a block end in her soul, after such betrayal she finds it's impossible to trust anyone else

Yet there was something different about her saviour his touch sent her body in blazing emotions everything about it felt entirely different but familiar she was quite sure they haven't met before, not in any circumstances.

May arrive at the dinning hall she sat down lost in her own portal of thoughts she hardly take a bite from the food placed in front of her. It was as if she lost all her appetites

She fiddled with the fork of spaghetti sauce beef stew her hands and slowly ate

Some maids around started murmuring their thoughts Loud exchanging glances

"She look so cheap and quite pathetic, just look at her I wonder how long she'll survive staying here...

"Me too, she must be one of those women who does nothing but leave their husbands house into another man house..a prostitute..

"What a disgrace...

Enzo presence at the dinning hall was both alarming and fearful as the three maid chattering on the issue of May suddenly stopped. The three of them remain silent their heart skipping in fear wondering if their boss heard them

Hearing his steps made May snapped back from her thought

And the next thing he did left her completely speechless
