“Ethan pulled the girl into a sitting position, gently pressing her against his chest. His left arm supported her back, while his right hand carefully adjusted her head so her mouth was right at his neck.
Even in her dazed, near-death state, she began to faintly sense Ethan’s intent…
She shook her head weakly in protest, but Ethan held her tightly in his arms, ignoring her feeble resistance. At this point, her strength was no match for his.
Ethan could feel her sharp fangs pressing against his neck. It hurt but he endured it.
In the end, she could no longer resist the primal survival instinct of her kind. She sank her fangs deep into Ethan’s neck and drank his warm blood wildly, without hesitation.
Pain.
Excruciating pain.
It felt like venom was being injected through the bite.
It felt like Ethan’s very soul, his life force was being drained along with every drop of blood.
The bite on his neck blazed with agony.
The pain radiated through his entire body, not just the bite alone.
It was burning, paralyzing.
Ethan felt as if his body was being scorched in the eternal flames of Hell.
He could feel his body trembling from the pain. And yet, Ethan still didn’t let go. He kept pressing her head tightly against his neck…”
…….
After saving a vampire’s life with his own blood, Ethan Duong’s once-quiet high school days at Class 11D, Harmony High, are turned completely upside down. Peace? That’s no longer an option.
Hi! I’m writer of this book. It’s kind of embarrassing to write review for my own book. But I want to share the reason that I write it. The idea for The Vampire’s Bloodbound started from a dream I had. I dreamed of a boy who got bitten by a vampire—but instead of being scared and running away, he made her swear that from then on, she could only drink his blood and no one else’s. When I woke up, I planned to write a short and sweet story—something that would give readers a sugar rush from all the fluff. But in the end, I decided to turn it into a light novel with action, adventure, and romance tags. It took me six months just to complete the outline for the first volume. I officially started writing in early March 2025, and my current pace is two - three chapters per week (1,500 words or more per chapter). In the future, I want to draw a webtoon for this book on my own. Hope everyone here support me!
Reveal Spoiler
I have never read a Vampire novel like this before. I love how the author mixes the mystery atmosphere of Vampire world with the fun of school life, slice of life. I love the slow burn romance and chemistry between MC and his crush. I wish they will have HE after all. These Vampires in this novel are so different from all of the Vampires in other novels. They seem young, funny, lively like real students. They make me want to go to Harmony High. I feel there is a ton of mystery in this novel. With all of the strange details, I don't know where the novel will go, but I wait for it. After chapter 24: Bloodbound, a chapter with a climax of action, emotion and... so much blood. I decided I have to write this review. Thanks for writing this book and sharing it for anyone. I hope the author writes faster and please don't drop this awesome novel.
