Crack!
The space between the two clashing fists shattered like glass. While fighting Garp, Rocks seemed to hear the funniest joke in the world.
"Die?"
A sudden surge of overwhelming force erupted from him. Garp was blasted backward like a ragdoll. Rocks turned sharply, facing the incoming sword slash that seemed to split the sky and the earth.
"Xehahaha! You want to kill me? Just the likes of you?!"
Rocks' savage laughter echoed through the skies. He let the slash crash against his body, but it failed to pierce even a single inch of his flesh.
"I!"
His left hand grabbed the slash that had landed on him.
"Am!"
With a violent swing to the left, he redirected the attack. The massive sword slash tore through the sky, carving out a trench hundreds of meters deep, stretching endlessly into the distance.
"ROCKS!!!"
The brutal roar carried a hint of madness. Rocks stepped forward like a storm tearing through everything in its path. His right hand gripped his weapon, coated in Conqueror's Haki, and slashed fiercely at Nusjuro.
"Xehahaha! Is this all you've got? Not enough! Not nearly enough! Give it your all! Come at me with everything you have!!!"
Clang!
The clash of blades and the collision of Conqueror's Haki sent countless streaks of black and purple lightning shooting wildly in all directions.
Rocks laughed maniacally as he pressed down on Nusjuro's blade with all his strength, holding nothing back. His grin widened as he forced the elder's blade lower and lower, his madness intensifying. His strength continued to rise without limit, and the crackling lightning around him grew even more violent.
Nusjuro gritted his teeth, stubbornly holding his ground, refusing to be overwhelmed.
"Xehahaha!!!"
When Rocks finally knocked Nusjuro away, he burst out in mad laughter.
Just then, Roger stepped calmly out from the ruins of the shattered palace in the distance.
"Divine Departure."
His deep voice echoed solemnly as he charged forward, his blade glowing faintly. With a single swing, he intercepted Rocks' rampage.
Clang!
Their swords collided, forcing Rocks to momentarily adopt a serious expression.
"Roger, you're also of the D Clan," Rocks said, his laughter subsiding into a grim tone. "Do you really wish to stand against me?"
Looking at the man before him, the madness on Rocks' face seemed to fade slightly.
Roger shook his head. "I have no intention of becoming your enemy. But I can't let you have that thing. And..." He paused. "I've already destroyed it."
Rocks froze.
"You! Did! What?!"
Each word from him sounded like a beast's growl.
Roger met the enraged man's eyes calmly and repeated with certainty, "I've already destroyed it."
Boom!
In a fit of rage, Rocks sent Roger flying with a single strike. He lunged forward, aiming to finish the job, but Garp reappeared just in time. His fist, wrapped in dense Armament Haki, slammed down.
Boom!
Rocks was smashed deep into the ground, a large crater forming beneath him.
"You're dead!!!"
Rocks' furious voice erupted from the crater.
Bang!
His figure vanished from the pit and reappeared in front of Garp. Simultaneously, they both threw punches. The space around them shattered and rippled.
Suddenly, a deafening rumble sounded, growing louder and louder until it exploded completely. In an instant, the earth trembled. Cracks spread across the ground like spiderwebs.
The thunderous roar was endless.
A pillar of energy, hundreds of meters wide, erupted from beneath the ruined palace and shot straight into the sky. The terrifying scene of the heavens and earth being torn apart was beyond words.
At the same time, Rocks felt a strange stirring from deep within his bloodline. Driven nearly insane by hatred, his eyes became bloodshot. His savage voice, filled with overwhelming rage, roared out.
"You all! Must die!!!"
Rocks' eyes burned red, completely consumed by madness and hatred.
Destruction! Destruction!! Destruction!!!
His mind, corroded by rage, no longer registered the earth shaking or mountains collapsing—such chaos meant little to warriors of their level. A violent surge of Conqueror's Haki burst from his body, coiling around him like a living storm.
He charged straight at the crowd. In the blink of an eye, Rocks appeared before Roger. With a mighty swing, he slashed down.
Roger met the attack head-on, clashing swords with him. The collision of two peak Conqueror's Hakis tore the surroundings apart, cracking the ground beneath them.
A second later, a blinding white light exploded between them.
BOOM!
The sudden blast sent both men hurtling backward. Before Rocks could even land, he twisted in mid-air, turning to face the new arrival.
It was Garp.
His arms were pitch-black, Armament Haki surging faintly along the surface. With his right arm pulled back, he launched a devastating punch straight at Rocks.
CLANG!
The sound of metal clashing echoed, Rocks did not dodge. He took Garp's iron fist head-on.
"Arrrghhh!!!"
With a savage snarl, he seized the Vice Admiral's right arm with his left hand. His right hand lifted his blade, black and purple Haki surging violently along the edge. Without hesitation, he hacked down hard at the restrained Marine.
Clang!
BOOM!!!
A nearly tangible surge of black and purple sword energy slammed into Garp. The two of them accelerated downward, crashing into the earth, carving out a massive crater.
Endless sword energy surged from the pit—soaring straight into the sky. Cracks spread outward with the two at the center. Moments later, black and purple sword energy exploded from the fissures, creating a massive crater over a mile wide.
"AAAHHH!!!"
"HAAAH!!!"
At the heart of the pit, their roars echoed. A violent hurricane burst from both of them, blowing away the dust and revealing their figures.
Garp glared furiously, his left hand coated in Armament Haki, clutching the blade tightly. Rocks' blood-red eyes gleamed as he pressed his sword hard against his opponent's neck. Both men roared, locked in a desperate contest of strength.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Two figures suddenly flashed to Rocks' sides, one on the left and one on the right. Both wrapped their arms in Conqueror's Haki, their punches distorting space itself.
Together, they struck directly at Rocks' head. The hairs on Rocks' body stood on end. In the face of life and death, he regained a sliver of sanity. He released Garp, stomped on the ground, and vanished from sight.
Boom!
Missing their target, Kong and Warcury's fists collided, triggering a deafening explosion.
Rocks, having narrowly evaded a fatal blow, was immediately met with a sword slash. His left hand, coated in Armament Haki, grabbed the oncoming blade. Ignoring the deep cut and bleeding in his palm, he twisted his upper body slightly to the right.
A flash of pure hatred burned in his eyes as he slashed backward. Nothing enraged him more than betrayal from "one of his own."
Roger remained silent, swinging his blade. Rocks, consumed by fury, returned the strike with all his wrath.
The moment the two blades clashed—
'I've won,' Roger thought to himself.
Crack!
"What?!"
Rocks' longsword snapped in two. His pupils shrank to their limit. But he had no time to dwell on it. The threat of death rushed toward him. His instincts screamed. He forcibly twisted his body, barely avoiding a fatal strike.
Still, the slash tore open half of his body, revealing bone. Yet the warning signals from his instincts did not fade.
A faint sound of something slicing the air followed. Rocks gritted his teeth, pushing his battered body further, lifting himself upward by a few inches.
At that very moment, Nusjuro, who had come behind him, raised his left hand. His index and middle fingers formed a sword-like shape, wrapped in swirling Conqueror's Haki.
The instant Roger's blade pierced into Rocks' body, Nusjuro's fingers stabbed like a sword toward the latter's heart.
Splurt!
The sharp sound of flesh being pierced echoed. Then, a surge of sword energy erupted. A gaping hole burst open just below Rocks' heart, blood pouring out uncontrollably.
BOOM!
An overwhelming aura, mixed with raging Conqueror's Haki, exploded from Rocks. Roger and Nusjuro were both blasted away instantly.
At this moment, Rocks finally regained his full clarity. Thoughts raced wildly in his mind, seeking a path to escape. He was strong—but not stupid. With so many enemies, if this dragged on, he would surely die here.
...
Meanwhile, on the distant shoreline, Sakazuki quietly watched the busy marines. Noticing the faint rise in temperature, the corner of his mouth curled into a fleeting smirk.
