Chapter 4

At the far end of the grand hall, a single chair sat atop it was reserved for the head Alpha( the Alpha of Dark Hunter Park), commanding attention.

As one approached the midpoint of the hall, a vibrant red carpet stretched across the floor, dividing the space into two distinct sections. On either side of the red carpet, two rows of chairs and tables faced each other, reserved for the Sub-Alphas.

The Sub-Alphas' seating arrangement was deliberately designed to facilitate confrontation and direct communication, with each side facing the other.

The Central Alpha, seated atop facing both divisions, gazing out upon the assembled Sub-Alphas.

"I have summoned you here today to discuss a matter of great importance," the head Alpha began, their voice echoing through the hall.

"My son has long had his first wolf transformation, and I think it's time to find his mate. "

Silent whispers crowd the grand hall.

"Mighty ruler, the issue of finding a mate for the grand Alpha, is indeed a pressing one. Hierarchy must come first, and the mate of the young master must be a descendant of Moonshine palace: apart from hierarchy Moonshine Park is blessed with five beautiful princesses who are greatly skilled In household business, " says the sub-Alpha of New Spring Park. I hear your household is in a gender crisis. "Your daughter goes about parading in men's clothing while your son practically lives in the kitchen " says New Spring Park's Sub Alpha.

This singular act leads the whole room to stumble in laughter; everyone is laughing except the Head Alpha and Fuzuro.

"He is right. Cave dwellers should know their place " someone within the crowd shouts out

Fuzuro's fists tighten together under the tables his wife quickly notices it, and forces his fist open with her hand, with a warm smile on her face.

As the noise dies down, Ray enters the room and walks on the red carpet, heading straight to the head of Alpha's table. As he walks, his parents' eyes widens, with fear of the unknown. His mother tried to wave at him, to stop storming towards the Alpha king's table, but all efforts proved abortive.

On reaching the Alpha king's table, he bowed his head respectfully.

"Mighty ruler, please grant me an audience "he asks.

The king, at first, looks furious but shakes it off with a smile. It has been a long time since he saw a young lad asking to be granted an audience.

Fuzuro quickly stands up with a headbow.

"Mighty ruler please, Padon his impulsive behavior"

The king raised his hand to signal Fuzuro to sit.

"Go on young lad"

"Sub Alphas, I greet you all; I was just walking towards the grand hall when my ears felt itchy, my hunch was right all alone, someone was talking about me, and my sister's impulsiveness.

"As we are seated here today, discussing the future of the park, I'd like to discuss the history of Queen Listra's, which I read on a scroll not too long ago " he clears her throat.

In the ancient times of Queen Listra, before the emergence of the Luna title, a devastating tragedy struck: Queen Listra's five sons died suddenly, leaving the kingdom in shock, believing she was cursed. Queen Listra begged her husband to take a concubine, hoping to produce new heirs.

The king refuses to hear the plea of the Queen for a concubine, and desperation leads her to trick him into drinking a cup of the potion of drunken desire: a potion that increases sexual urge. She went further to select a very beautiful virgin to lay with the king; after this event, the virgin was made a palace concubine.

The concubine gave birth to a son, but fate dealt another cruel blow: the young master also died mysteriously. The people of the kingdom, driven by superstition and fear, turned against Queen Listra, seeking to kill her.

Her husband, however, stood by her, giving her all the protection she needed. Queen Listra fled into the forest and committed suicide.

As the night wore on, the full moon rose high in the sky, shining brightly on her corpse. The moon fairy summoned her spirit into the hall of eternal peace. She begged and pleaded for a lasting solution to the calamity which had befallen the park. The Moon fairy took pity on her, and opened the forbidden realm of the Lunar Kingdom: the only place where tiny petals of the ancient magic of the moon still lingered.

There, she encounters the legendary Luna fairy, who revealed to her the secrets of the Lunar Analyzer, an ancient artifact created to detect the true Lunar Queen.

With the Lunar Analyzer in hand, Queen Listra's soul returned to her kingdom, determined to find a worthy successor. She gathered all the eligible maidens and had them undergo the Lunar Analyzer's test.

One by one, the maidens pricked their fingers, allowing their blood to flow into the analyzer, but none of their blood matched the celestial signature of the true Lunar Queen.

Just as all hope seemed lost, a young maiden appeared, one who possessed a unique energy signature that resonated with the Lunar Analyzer…her blood gave the Luna Analyzer a magic glow. On seeing this, Queen Listra's spirit finally found peace, her soul began to disperse, like wisps of mist evaporating into the air. The Moon fairy, who had been watching over

Her, gently guiding her soul towards the afterlife.

As the soul ascended, it left behind a trail of glittering stardust, which settled upon the Lunar Analyzer. The device, now imbued with the essence of Queen Listra's spirit, glowed with an otherworldly light.

I can tell for sure that Queen Listra did not sacrifice herself, for nothing the Lunar Analysis has a purpose which can never be over exaggerated. "

The king's expression transformed from surprise to admiration as Ray finished his tale.

The Alpha king laughs and claps his hands, and the others join him.

"Fuzuro, your son's knowledge of history is worthy of praise," he says, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.

"I've been considering establishing a hall of enlightenment for young men, where they can learn about history, swordsmanship, spells and ways of leadership."

The Sub-Alphas exchange curious glances at the king's announcement.

"I propose that we create a hall of enlightenment dedicated to educating our young men," the king continues.

The hall falls silent, as the weight of the king's words sinks in.

"Furthermore," the king adds, "while our young men are being educated, we will also seek a suitable mate for my son." I invite all of you, esteemed Sub-Alphas, to present your daughters as potential candidates for the position of Luna."

The room erupted into a mixture of excitement and nervous chatter as the Sub-Alphas began to contemplate the possibilities and future advantages of the king's announcement.

EARLIER

"Gua, I am so ecstatic, I have always imagined what the kitchen of the Alpha king would look like. "

"Well, I am sure it looks nothing like our kitchen " Gua responds with her hands in the air.

"My heart is racing so fast I'd like to see what it looks like. I'm so curious " Ray says with dreamy eyes.

"Well, too bad only girls are allowed in there, but there's only one way to do that though, " Gua says with one hand on her invisible beard.

"Which is it?" Ray asks.

"Rebirth " Gua answers in a sarcastic tone.

"You know what?" Ray asks, his eyes shining as though his light of knowledge has turned on.

" No, Ray, don't look at me like that", she says, with her hand on her chest.

"The moon goddess did not make it any bigger; oh, thanks to the moon goddess! " He says, rubbing both hands together and his hand staring at her chest.

"Ray, there's no way I am doing that; I don't want to swap places with you; being you is not cool to me. "Have you heard your nickname around the market?" she asks.

They both use their eyes to search for a place to swap clothes. They find a hall which looks rather quiet with an inscription "the hall of innocence".

They open the hall only to find two servants, a male and a female, lying on the floor with their clothes off; Ray quickly covers Gua's eyes as they retreat.

"I can't believe you talked me into this, it's such a bad idea, " Gua says as she attempts to turn back.

" You can leave," Ray says, with his hands on her shoulder.

Ray drags her hand and attempts to spin it; he suddenly jumps and lands in front of her; his leg lands on something metal, which begins to move on its own; it spins slowly and stops, and then the grass covering the

ground and splits open, revealing a rather ancient staircase.
