The Mysterious Smile

By Biplob Kabiraz

Behind the smile, countless pains gather,A touch of sunshine in the eyes, yet inside, words of sorrow.Life is a battle, wrapped in pain,Yet with a smile, I hide the burn of my heart's flame.

Always a smiling face for everyone,The tale of my sorrow is only a silent direction.A creator of others' happiness, concealing my own grief,Only in the darkness of night, does the mind's foundation break.

On this stage of life, I am a silent hero,Painted with the hues of suffering, yet my smile is my shield.Who will hear my pain? Who will understand my inner emptiness?Everyone seeks the light, no one wants the depth of darkness.

Yet, I smile, for this is my strength,Even in pain, I seek the nectar of hope's release. If a little happiness blooms on someone's face,Then this mysterious smile will become an eternal joy.

Though storms rage within, my outward face is the unwavering star,I am that ever-familiar smile, lost in pride. If someone one day understands, the depth behind this smile,Perhaps, then they'll find the reflection of my heart's shadow.
