Chapter 1

Aliff stood behind the old man, both now in front of the door.

"Hey Ina, Grandpa's back," he said while knocking on the door in front of him.

A few seconds later, the door opened, and it was a woman who opened it.

"Hmm... wow... she's so beautiful," Aliff thought to himself.

"Welcome back, Grandpa," greeted a soft voice from inside the house. Aliff shifted his gaze toward the voice. A young woman stood at the threshold, her face covered with a delicate eye mask. Even with her eyes covered, her beauty shone brightly. Her jet-black hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her attire was simple yet elegant.

"Hah! Who did you bring, Grandpa?" the woman asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

"Hah, you're right, I forgot to ask this boy's name. Hey, please introduce yourself," said the old man to Aliff.

"This old man seems a bit dimwitted. Can he really make me strong?" Aliff thought to himself.

"My name is Aliff, nice to meet you," Aliff said with a calm face.

"Grandpa found him alone in the forest, so I brought him here."

The woman nodded slowly, as if digesting the information. "Let me introduce you, this is my granddaughter, Ina. She's only nine years old," Grandpa said to Aliff.

"Nine years old? But she has a body that a nine-year-old shouldn't have," Aliff thought to himself while looking at the woman's entire body.

Ina just stared at Aliff with a blank expression. Her vacant gaze made Aliff uncomfortable. "What's up with this woman? Does she not like me?" he wondered.

In the living room...

Aliff and the old man sat on a comfortable sofa. The atmosphere inside the house felt warm, yet Aliff still felt strange. He looked around, trying to adapt to this new environment.

"Hey Grandpa, you know I'm not from this world, right?" Aliff asked, his voice full of doubt.

The old man nodded, his eyes fixed on Aliff. "That's right. I know because the aura in your body is very different from the aura of people in this world. I can say, I've never felt an aura like the one in you. That aura... it's indescribable."

"Aura?!...

Aliff took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "So that's it. You only knew I wasn't from this world just by seeing my aura. If that's the case, do you know how I can return to my original world?"

"Hmm...

The old man shook his head, "Unfortunately, I don't know. I only know you're not from this world. I don't know how you can return to your original world," he replied, "and I also don't know where you came from."

"Am I going to be trapped in this world forever? No... I can't be trapped in this world; I still have family at home."

Aliff stared, his mind spinning. "For some reason, I feel like I'm in a novel. Suddenly, he remembered the novel he read before coming to this world. This event is just like in the novel. "Hmm... Am I now in a novel? But the problem is, why am I in this novel? What am I supposed to do here? Isn't there supposed to be a system that appears before me and gives me missions or helps me become strong and get out of this novel? But why is there no system here? What should I do? I don't know what kind of story this novel is. What will happen if the storyline changes because of my presence?"

"Ugh, damn it!!!" Aliff let out a frustrated sound, his hands clutching his hair.

"What's wrong with you?" asked the old man, his eyes filled with confusion at Aliff's sudden commotion.

"Hah! It's nothing, forget it," Aliff quickly replied, trying to hide the chaos in his mind. *You said you would help me become strong, right? "I have to be strong in this world no matter what happens. I don't know anything about this world. If I'm weak, in this world, I could die at any time. Basically, the weak will die, and the strong will live," he thought.

"Oh, it seems you do want to become strong quickly, huh?" said the old man, "But you should know, your body is now like a seven-year-old child."

"Hah! I forgot that my body has changed after coming to this world. Damn," Aliff lamented, his hands clutching his face.

"Why does my body have to be small?...

At that moment, Ina came to the living room carrying a tray of food. "Here, eat," she said in a flat voice before heading back to her room.

"Hah! Forget it for now, I better eat first," and with that, Aliff devoured his food voraciously. After eating, he went to his room. Inside, there was a large enough bed. Aliff jumped onto the bed and lay down, his eyes staring at the ceiling of the room.

"Hah, it's not even a day since I entered this novel, but I already feel tired," he muttered. What are my mom and dad doing now? Are they worried about my sudden disappearance?

"Hmm...

"By the way, my training will start tomorrow," Aliff continued in his mind. *The old man said the training he would give me is crazy. I don't know what kind of training he'll give tomorrow. At that moment, Aliff quickly fell asleep on his bed, his tired body finally succumbing to the drowsiness that came.
