Kushina said anxiously.

Uzumaki Mito and the Third Hokage both frowned.

Were these all just coincidences?

But this was too much of a coincidence.

Danzo still couldn't believe it. Was this the final struggle of the Senju and Uzumaki clans?

"Ryoto refused the Third Hokage?"

"Yes, Danzo-sama! He directly refused the Chunin promotion."

The kneeling masked ninja reported, "He said being a Genin was fine and that Genin are Konoha's foundation."

Danzo suddenly laughed. "Nonsense! What determines a village's strength are its elite Jonin and Kage-level powerhouses!"

"He doesn't want to see me? Bring him in!"
