Sleeping Beauties

Hunter POV

It's been two days since the ceremony. After the announcement, the empire prepared a small banquet for all the Hunters' parties to have proper meals before the raid. Who knows, it may be someone's last meal of their life.

Then Kairo straight get in the tent, sat on the table then munched my food "Hunt, have you heard from the girls, about the 2 new guests Waa! They are so mysterious e" while eating my food. 

"About what again Kai, can you not eat my food and you're not allowed here." why on earth his always here as far as I remember everyone is on the field practicing.

"Come on man, I'm here because I'm your brother, and as to what I'm saying have you heard the gossip?" his always here just to piss me off and tell me random things.

 "After you tell me that can you leave and go back to the field already." then I faced him with a serious face.

" Will you know that after the ceremony we didn't see any of the 2 guests right? Here is the catch those 2 never leave their quarter even once t-" then I cut him off before he can finish.

" What's new to that Kai you know maybe they don't want to socialize there not like you that always go around." his news is surely 89 % gossip while the rest are sometimes real and useful. 

"Man let me finish first, seriously they are weird so as I was saying the guest didn't leave the quarters even once, not even meal times for 2 days 2 WHOLE DAYS! It's according to Janeth when I visited their tent, and when they looked inside their quarters those 2 were sleeping soundlessly." His serious about that right? Maybe Janeth is just exaggerating the story.

"Seriously Kai how come they can sleep that long without waking up, and may be they have food inside their quarters or maybe the girls did just not notice them going out of the tent." Then I went back to what I was doing and left Kairo on the table I even heard him whisper. " those 2 are suspicious" and then continued eating my food.

It's 1 in the afternoon now and I'm done checking all the equipment that will be used tomorrow for the raid when I remember Kairos's words again, he is sometimes annoying and distracting so to conform to what he was saying I decided to go to the women's tents to check if everything is all right and nothing weird happening. When I was near the tent I saw Jess doing something, then I called her name "Jess!".

"Hunter!, Thank god you're here" She stopped what her doing and approached me then my brows raised when I saw a hint of relief on her face, now what's going on here?

"Hey! What's going on, is there a problem?" I ask her when she's near me now.

"Yes, there is and I don't know what to do to it, it's kind of unusual you know the 2 guest right?" she ask me with worried in her eyes.

" Yes, Selena and Agatha, what's wrong?" then I saw a hint of hesitation in her so what really going out here.

"I don't want to bother you Hunt because you have a lot of things to do. But I don't know what to do with this case that we have. As I was saying the guests were having trouble with them right now they aren't waking up since after the ceremony happened it been 2 days now". What on earth! so it's really true Kairo said to me earlier.

Jess guided me inside the tent at the end part of it there I saw 2 people sleeping peacefully, so now what should I do? No way that they aren't waking up right is as a tap on the shoulder might do.

"Who did know about this incident?" I ask Jess as much as possible this should not go viral in the camp.

"Most of them are the girls and I already told them to don't spread this outside." don't spread outside but Kairo already knew about this before I did know what a mess.

"and what did you do, did you try to wake them up already?" just to know what should I do next.

"No, we didn't touch anyone of them, who knew there might be something in them any virus or anything that can be harmful if we touch them." She's right we can't just touch them so now what should we do? Then I heard there was one apprentice nurse called Jess so I was left alone, as I was staring at them I couldn't deny that these women had good looks on them. Anyway, I think I don't have a choice out here but to try to do the basics to tap their shoulder or shake them.

As I approach I think Selena is her name, I can't sit aside but notice her long lashes, sharp nose her pinkish lips she is so pretty She's a Sleeping Beauty. O come on Hunt we don't have any time to mesmerize someone's beauty here we have a lot of things to do I told to myself. As I was about to tap her I shockingly stumbled back and sat myself on the floor, WHAT ON EARTH she suddenly opened her eyes, blinked, and looked at me sharply.

Now what's with that attitude, hey I didn't do anything here I just want to wake them up from their sleep. " What? I didn't do anything ok if that's what you're thinking, I just want to wake you up." and why am I explaining myself here? After a short silence, I told her that I'll be calling Jess to check them up, and I also already explained what happened that they had been 2 days sleeping.

After what happened I instructed Jess to check them and if there were problems with their health, and were lucky that they were just fine. And I continue to do the tasks that I have to do after the sleeping beauties wake up what a day.
