The first 30ish chapters were good. I could see the story going in a good number of directions that would be fun. What happens between ch 35 and 42 (or there about) blew the story for me. The MC's reactions and responses ran completely counter to what had been built up previously. I was hoping it would turn around when the MC got over the initial surprise, but nope. While the story showed initial promise, for me, I'm uninterested in continuing down the road the author is taking us on. It may be something you will like, but it's not for me.
