Chapter 5- Lessons and secret

I didn't realize until now that I had summoned two of wolves and after being pointed out, I saw numbers of mana constantly falling.

I got my wolf to get down and place me on ground while I also laid that man next to me who seemed to tap his clothes here and there as that blood faded in air.

"Great performance boy, but your judgement of your opponent's strength is poor at best. Anyway, congratulations on entering the team 11 of our guild."

'Guild, wasn't this team supposed to be some random team made of low ranked hunters who can only raid rank F Dungeons.'

Two hours went while my supposed to be team members explained things to me that had lead up to this point.

"So, I was just a random gamble for participant to enter new blood teams." I could not hold it in any longer and let these words out.

"Yes exactly that's how our recruitment is done. This same had also happened with me." A little girl said in excited expression while puffing her cheeks. His excitement was so much that her face had turned red like potato.

"Don't mind this over energetic little cracker. She just get excited too easily. But be wary of her because her skill is pretty strong and it is unique to her due to her awakening with this inherent skill" James who is trained by original team and is leader of this team explained.

I wanted to know what this skill is about but something from expressions of others told me to not express my curiosity.

Seeing the awkward moment, James swooped in again to make moment lively again by saying, "Meet this guy, he is Eren and his specialty is making great food apart from being a tactical genius."

He had pointed out toward guy who was sitting silent all this time, his personality was like he would in room and no one notice him at all.

"So, this team is made of all kind of geniuses which I guess also make me genius. So, I am a great otaku and little of a summoner." I tried to merge myself into group by using this dialogue which I had heard once in a anime.

But I gues it hadn't worked in a way which I intended it to because now a silence appeared in group.

"Haha, that was hella funny. You should be called comedian but could you guess that title is owned by our leader." Someone came walking behind me saying this, his voice was awfully to something I had heard but I could not pinpoint who was this similar to.

I was sitting on the chair around round table with the team, and I tired back to look who could say such things about a person who is leader of team and presumably strongest in team.

This guy was the mirror image of James but his built was more bigger than James. He was carrying a big round wooden platform containing six plates full of food for everyone.

"My name is Luke I am co leader of your team while also being little twin brother of your leader." His tone carried a natural sarcasm which felt inseparable from him.

"So, what is this new guy can help us with, have you found where in dungeon formation would he be kept."

James stood up from his seat helping Luke to place food on table while explaining, "Eren is a working on it so we can increase teamwork while keeping the injuries or stop any losses from happening."

"Basics are already done that summons would be in front along side with Luke to stop any incoming attacks while he can probably also learn some support skill to be useful from back line with Lucy and Kasker who is not here in this meeting again. But I will still be working on more depth analysis of what support skill might be most effective."

Eren had perfectly explained a team where everyone can work to support each other without coming in each other's way, his reputation as genius tactician was now very well before my eyes.

'Is he so smart normally or does he have skill that help in doing this?' I had this question deep down, but what can I do, I always end up curious about such things even if I don't let it show. This was one of many curiosities that I had running in my head.

"Aryan can you please summon your wolf, the big one. I wanna pet him and play with it."

In this meantime, Lucy the little girl have somehow came behind my chair and whispered in my ear from behind.

I turned behind and looked at her expectation filled eyes, I could not stop and I ruffled her hair.

"You can play with Wolfy in some time as I don't have much mana right now for it play with you." I said bending over to say this in her ear.

"Is that a contract promise?" She asked tilting her head to the side while grave my hand with her soft hand.

"Of course, do you this big brother would lie to a kid." I replied without thinking.

"No." Everyone said in unison with such worry that it is some kind of monster attack on city.

A sensation that something was crawling on my arms was felt which sent a shiver in my spine.

A timer had started on my screen as those chain on my arms burned and left marks of it there.

'What the hell is wrong with this girl, can she act normal or be normal?' Now I had understood what others wanted to say to me was that this is child with strong power while not being right in the head.
