After the church service, Damian and Sienna walked hand in hand toward his car. The bright sun shone down, a soft breeze sweeping past them. Sienna was still feeling peaceful from the service, but she was also starting to feel the familiar pang of hunger.
As if reading her mind, Damian smirked. "There’s a new restaurant that just opened. They have the best food."
Sienna raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
He nodded. "Yeah. I had a business dinner there last week, and trust me, you’ll love it."
She smiled, her trust in him unwavering. "Well, I trust your judgment."
He smirked. "You should."
With that, they got inside the car, and Damian started driving. The twenty-minute ride was quiet yet comfortable, the hum of the engine and the soft sound of the radio filling the air. Sienna leaned against the window, watching the city streets pass by, feeling completely at ease.
