Chapter 2

Noah met Ukhyu in a quiet corner, far from the tournament area. "Tell me about what you know" Noah began the conversation in a cold tone. His eyes were sharp and intimidating. Ukhyu smiled thinly. "LN is the architect of the life of this Enesbelva world. He has been the enemy of the gods since 17,000 years ago, since your death. He pretended to be the second pillar of the pole god, replacing you, Noah. And now, all the gods are starting to forget the figure of the demon king and the original second pillar of the pole god. That's what I know, ask your wife Enah directly if not I can kill her at any time"

Ukhyu laughed with his figure walking slowly away from Noah. Noah clenched his fists, anger coursing through Noah's body. Noah had a very strong belief that Rikka was the reincarnated Enah. He wanted to hear directly from Enah about all the life-threatening LN plans.

In the distance, with a radiant face Lera approached Noah to congratulate and admire her brother. Noah's anger was disturbed by the sound of cheerful footsteps approaching. He turned around, "Brother Noah!" Lera shouted with a radiant face. "Good job, yeay!" Lera exclaimed while clapping her hands excitedly.

"Two magics at once! Even the teachers don't believe it!" Noah tried to get rid of the shadows of Rikka and Enah for a moment. He smiled faintly seeing his sister's overflowing joy. "Who do you think your brother's identity is? Even 17,000 years ago my identity will never fade."

"Haha yes, very much!" Lera exclaimed with wide eyes. "The seniors even recorded all your movements!" Lera's sincerity pulled Noah back to the present, reminding him of the real bond in this present life.

"Thank you, Lera," replied Noah, gently patting his sister's head "Lera, can you invite Rikka to come to Faris' house, celebrate this victory with her," he continued.

"Oh, Kaka is in love with her." Lera concluded something like that Noah could only smile because there was a big plan behind this invitation that could not be discussed with his sister but another time after his plan succeeded. Lera rushed up the ladder to the balcony above the tournament arena, a special place for nobles to watch the match.

"Rikka, you're not here," said Lera while exploring the area. However, she did not find Rikka in her usual place to watch the match. "How strange," Lera muttered, "usually she's always here."

In the Middle of the Night...

Rikka sneaked in through Noah's bedroom window. Her black robe blended with the night, her hood covering her face so that only her eyes were visible. Noah's room looked dark. Shin was sleeping soundly on his bed. Rikka crept closer, then pulled a pitch-black sickle from a room. Rikka's scythe was not something ordinary Elhernoa The scythe could burn and tear people's Essence to shreds. Rikka raised her scythe high, ready to slash. "This is your end," she whispered vengefully. "Be grateful, you're just something made from an old book,"

but before the scythe could hit Noah, his hand suddenly moved quickly to catch Rikka's wrist. Her eyes snapped open.

"Who are you calling an old book," Shin said calmly. In an instant, Shin turned the tables. He pushed Rikka to the floor and kicked the black scythe out of her hand. Rikka tried to fight back, but Shin was too strong.

"Who are you, just touching my scythe can kill anyone with just a scratch," Rikka said wide-eyed before the hood covering her figure was removed by Noah.

"You finally came Enah?" Noah smiled lightly at her.

  "Who is Enah?"

"No need to pretend like that," Noah said in a calm voice. "What happened? It's been 17,000 years since we were apart, and I still remember when you killed me." His words made Rikka pause, her understanding of her past began to emerge, and a sad expression began to appear on her face that was perhaps the most touching to say the least.

Reunion...

"You're Noah" Rikka touched Noah's face and then hugged him warmly. There was no grudge in Noah even though he had killed him in his previous life. Now, can you tell me what happened?" Noah asked with eyes that looked seriously at Rikka.

"Ukhyu said that this world is just a lie. Why have some of my memories been lost? And why has my power as a God lost almost eighty percent?"

"Before that I really apologize for killing you, do you hold a grudge against me?" Rikka's voice was full of regret, "the main cause of your lost power is probably because of this scythe, made from the essence of your own God energy 17,000 years ago I took it after I killed you, that's why you have no effect on this."

"Can you return it?" Noah asked. "Yes. And I'm sorry," he said looking down. Noah stroked Rikka's hair with his right hand then whispered something soft, "I still love you" Rikka's gloom turned into a sweet smile. Noah pulled the scythe that was lying on the floor.

When held by him, the scythe resonated and responded to the power of the golden light of the gods and the black energy of destruction. The power melted faster, leaving the shape of a scythe.

"Art Returns [Aighit]!" now Noah's power returned to its original state with one hundred percent power that could easily shake the world of Enesbelva. "Noah, the cause of your memory loss might be him - the killer of our child 17,000 years ago. He is also the figure who controls me."

"Who do you mean, Rikka?" asked Noah. His eyes showed suppressed anger.

Rikka changed her expression, her face filled with hatred. "Navael," she said in a voice full of anger.

"He is the one who pretended to be the second pillar of the polar god, the mastermind behind all this fake life. Navael is the main architect who designed this life as an example of rebellion against the Creator."

"Is he called The LN?" Noah whispered, trying to grasp the still vague memory. In his mind appeared the image of a silver-masked figure. "He who forced me to share all the essentials of the book of Dathlem, so that I was forced to create these humans. You could say, I am the mother of all mankind. However, I have also become a killer for anyone who has two powers, because I am afraid that they will become something that is beneficial to Navael,"

"You still remember, 17,000 years ago, I once said that I was a creature formed from the book of Dathlem, the most secret book. They are creatures created with only one magic word, making them very lowly. Unlike me, who was created from the essence of the entire Dathlem book."

 "How was it created?"

"Navael forcibly ordered me to share all the magic, knowledge and all the essential elements, as if torn apart by force." Noah rubbed his forehead, "Then why did you reincarnate, Rikka? Did you manage to become something whole with the help of Elhernoa's scythe?" Rikka's eyes narrowed. Her voice was cold as ice. "Revenge. Navael killed our child in the womb 17,000 years ago." "Yes. He was afraid that my child would inherit the full power of Dathlem and the grudge of his father's murder," Rikka clenched her fists.

"That's why I came back—to avenge what he had taken from me. If I didn't have Elhernoa's scythe, I might not be here. I'm grateful to be able to love you again,"

"And, I'm always lucky to be able to celebrate your love Enah," Noah calmed his wife's heart that had been rumbling for thousands of years. "Together we will kill these lowly creatures until they disturb LN out of hiding to kill him," Rikka stared at him closely, even though Elhernoa's scythe was not in her possession but meeting Noah again removed the burden of the long past.
