Main Characters:

Haru Tanaka: A shy, book-loving high school student who struggles with social anxiety. He enjoys writing and draws inspiration from everyday life yet finds it hard to express himself outside of his notebooks.

Aya Mizuki: Haru's vibrant and outgoing next-door neighbor. She is a university student with dreams of becoming a famous painter. Confident and nurturing, she often takes it upon herself to brighten Haru's days.

Kazuki Yamamoto: Haru's childhood friend who is more extroverted and encourages him to break out of his shell. He often serves as the bridge between Haru and Aya.

Miso the cat: Aya's cheeky black cat who often plays a pivotal role in the unfolding of events.
