The ocean's surface broke apart as Emma and Rahi emerged from the depths, gasping for air. Moonlight shimmered against the water, reflecting off the Sapphire Stone still clutched in Emma's hand.
The power within it hummed against her skin, an energy unlike anything she had felt before.
They swam toward the ruins of Eldrin's shoreline, their muscles aching from the battle beneath the tides. As soon as they reached solid ground, Emma collapsed onto the damp stone, her breath ragged.
Rahi sat beside her, shaking water from his hair. "That," he exhaled, "was insane."
Emma let out a weak laugh. "And yet, we survived."
Rahi smirked. "Somehow."
The ruins around them stood eerily silent, as if even the ghosts of Eldrin knew something had changed. The Drowned Ones were gone, the water now still.
Emma lifted the Sapphire Stone, watching as it shimmered with swirling blue energy. It had tested her. Accepted her.
And now, it was hers.

The Stone's Warning
A sudden pulse of energy surged from the stone, sending a faint ripple across the water.
Emma froze. A voice whispered in her mind, the same one she had heard during the trial.
"You hold the tides of fate in your hands."
"But beware… the storm follows the tide."
Emma's fingers tightened around the stone. "The storm?"
The voice faded, but the uneasy feeling remained.
Rahi noticed the shift in her expression. "What is it?"
Emma swallowed hard. "The stone—it just… warned me."
Rahi's smirk faded. "Warned you about what?"
Emma looked toward the horizon, the dark sky looming over the sea.
"That something is coming."
A gust of wind rushed past them, carrying a distant rumble of thunder.

The Eclipse King's Move
Far from Eldrin, in the heart of a dark fortress, a figure stood before a massive, enchanted map, his golden eyes glowing beneath the flickering torchlight.
The Eclipse King traced his fingers over the markings, his lips curling into a dangerous smile.
A scout knelt before him, his head bowed in submission. "My lord, the girl has taken the Sapphire Stone."
The Eclipse King chuckled. "So, she passed the trial."
His fingers brushed against the Onyx Stone around his neck. "Good. Let her believe she's winning."
He turned to the shadows behind him, where hooded figures waited in silence. "Send them. It's time she learns what it means to defy me."
The air shuddered as the Eclipse King's magic rippled through the chamber.
The hunt had begun.
