Season 1: Rise of the Villain
Episode 10: Salazar Strikes Back
The explosion had turned the night sky into fire. Damien watched from a rooftop a few blocks away, the burning remains of the casino reflecting in his cold eyes. The message was clear—Salazar was no longer untouchable. But Damien knew this was just the beginning.
Salazar wasn't the type to sit back and take a hit. He would retaliate. Hard.
By morning, the entire city was talking. News stations reported on the mysterious attack, cops scrambled for answers, and every criminal in Blackhaven whispered one name—Damien Cross.
But Damien didn't care about the city's reaction. He was watching Salazar's.
At an abandoned warehouse, Damien and his men gathered to plan their next move. Nikolai leaned over the table, studying a map of Blackhaven. "Salazar won't let this slide. He's coming."
Vega smirked, loading his gun. "Let him."
But Damien wasn't smiling. He knew Salazar better than anyone. The old man wouldn't charge in blindly. He'd strike where it hurt most.
And that's exactly what happened.
That evening, Damien's phone buzzed. An unknown number. He answered, and a familiar voice made his blood run cold.
"Did you really think I wouldn't hit back, boy?" Salazar's voice was calm, almost amused. "You've made quite the mess. Now, it's time for a cleanup."
Before Damien could respond, a loud explosion rocked the city.
One of their safe houses.
He rushed outside, heart pounding as he saw thick black smoke rising in the distance. His men were already loading up in SUVs, weapons ready.
They arrived to find nothing but wreckage. The building was in flames, bodies scattered in the rubble—his men, his allies, slaughtered.
And then, the gunfire started.
Salazar's men were waiting. They had set a trap.
Bullets rained down from the rooftops as masked enforcers attacked from all sides. Damien and his crew dove for cover, returning fire. The street became a war zone.
Nikolai grabbed Damien's shoulder. "We need to fall back!"
Damien gritted his teeth, firing off a few rounds before retreating down an alley. They had underestimated Salazar. The old man had struck fast, proving he wasn't going down without a fight.
By the time they escaped, half of their men were dead.
This wasn't just a war anymore.
It was personal.
